  • I am going to try this from this week. I am up a 1.5 stone (21 pounds) since my lowest weight 10 month ago. I was happy at a stone lighter (14 pounds) and would like to maintain that.
  • Exactly the same as me. I have put a couple inches on my belly and hips despite only 1700 calories a day.
  • I am finding maintaining so hard. I went down from 26.5 stone (373 pounds) down to just over 12 stone (171 pounds). I managed to maintain 12.5 stone for most of last year which I was very happy with. Since November at first it suddenly upped half a stone (7 pounds) in just a few days to 13 stone and then a stone more by…
  • I don't like the term clean eating but it is preferable. I can be under my calories but if I eat too many thng like bread, process foods, my body reacts and end up bloating from water retention. I have had as much as 5-7 pounds just from water. Atm, despite keeping to my usual 500 calorie deficit per day, I am 12 pounds…
  • Weight fluctuations are a nightmare. I am currently up +12 pounds from my lightest weight of 171 pounds. I was happy to maintain at 175 nearly all year. Today I was 183 ! The last 7 pounds of that was in the last 2 weeks. This is despite exercising as usual and keeping to my 1700 calories day.
  • I can gain +5-7 pounds very easily but it takes a lot longer to go back down. It isn't nice to see on the scales but looking at the bigger picture, I was recently back to the same weight I was 9 months ago.
  • 26.5 down from 58.4. I would like it to be 25.5-26 but atm it just not happening.
  • Maintaining is hard for me. I also have a 5 pound range to maintain and despite me having the same calories I always have, I am up 10 pounds. Looking at the bigger picture, a couple of weeks ago I was the same weight I was 9 months ago so I have maintained my weight. I just hate how easy it is to see the pounds go up and…
  • I haven't lost a single pound in 9 months while keeping to my usual 1500 calories a day which is irritating. My gut is the only thing left to go.
  • 58.4 down to 26.5 in 23 months which I have maintained for 9 months now. I would still like to be 26 but my weight just won't go down further.
  • I have loads of stretch marks over my stomach and they are not going away due to losing 200 pounds. I couldn't care less about them but I have a big stomach that won't go away due to excess skin. That is a lot worse than stretch marks.
  • My arms and feet are thinner than I like. It is just my stomach that I don't like. After losing over 200 pounds, it is just a little annoying to still look fatter than I like to be.
  • I have a BMI of 26.5 after starting at 58.4. Apart from a little excess skin around the stomach, I already get told I look too thin and can fit in a small sized T Shirt. I am aiming to be a little under BMI 26 but after 9 months still haven't got there. The BMI formula is 200 years old and was used for population not…
  • I think I can relate to the problem. Six months ago I was just 3 pounds away from my goal and since then I have been +5 pounds and even up to 14 pounds more (for a couple of weeks before dropping down). I had been losing for 2 years and lost 200 pounds so it was a surprise and annoying. I am still on the same 1500-1700…
  • I have been overweight all my life and did something when I realised it had been 27 of being overweight and 373 pounds. Now 23 months later I dropped down to 171 pounds. That was 5 months ago. I decided on having a +5 maintenance weight and of yesterday I was 175 pounds. I managed to stay around 171 pounds for several…
  • After several months of maintenance my water weight is +7 pounds. I don't like that so I am going back to losing. For a while I was +3 pounds water weight which I was happy with but it shot up this month.
  • I am watching it at the moment and it has taken me 4 times to try to get through it. The person doing the documentary basically said exercising is a waste of time for weight loss within the first few minutes. They even got a metabolism expert to agree despite nothing being said about increasing ones own metabolic rate.…
  • 1st full episode 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KiXicpOJRYY I missed episode 1 but already don't like episode 2 just a few minutes in. Basically, the guy was going on about no point in doing exercise to lose weight as the body can't burn above the resting metabolic rate. Nothing about someone Base Metabolic Rate…
  • I went down to 171 pounds but have setted at +4 pounds. I have seen +14 pounds recently but it starts to go back down around a pound a day. I would like to see 168 pounds though as that is a round 12 stone in weight.
  • I hate water weight. I am currently up 10 pounds in just a few weeks from my lowest weight and my problem is it just doesn't go down. At best it goes down just half a pound a day but it doesn't last and it is easy to shoot back up.
  • 60 pounds is great. It is normal to go up a few pounds when in maintenance. As long as the calories are not excess it is just water weight. I am still trying to maintain after 5 months. I stayed the same weight for months but recently gone up 6 pounds in just a couple of week. I am not eating the calories required to be…
  • I want to maintain a 12 stone weight (168 pounds) and atm it is not working. The lowest I have been is 12 stone 3 pounds (171 pounds) and in the last few of weeks gone up 7 pounds despite me sticking with my usual 1600 calories. That should be a deficit of 400 calories a day. For months I was going up a few pounds and back…

  • 154 pounds in the first year so 3 pounds a week for that first year. By the end of the second year it was 202 and so went down down to 0.9 pound a week average or 2.2 pounds over all 2 years.
  • Good job. Did it take a while to lose the last few pounds ? I lost 202 pounds and now keep going up 5 pounds and then gradually losing it again for the last 4 months. I would like to go past the 202 and settle at around 207 pounds lost. It is all on my stomach.
  • Average BF% of women is 25–31%. Perhaps aim for 25% ?
  • That's excellent. Gives me hope that one day I might get past my 4 month plateau. I only need to lose another 7 pounds and it just won't happen. Fingers crossed it might happen by the end of the year.
  • I want to lose a few more pounds but have managed to maintain on 1600 calories for 4 months despite having a deficit of about 400 calories a day. Male 5' 7" 174 pounds (want to be about 168 pounds) I was a little lighter in March at 171 pounds.
  • I was just 3 pounds away from my 12 stone goal (was 26 stone 9 pounds) but that was 4 months ago have been maintaining approximately 12 stone 6 pounds since. Whatever I do, it just won't go down.
  • After losing 200 pounds most of my extra skin is my stomach. Thing is I look just like I did just smaller. I still have a stomach overhang. I was hoping it would be flatter by now but it is getting better slowly. When I lie on my back, the skin shows there is little fat underneath as I can feel under my ribs. It isn't as…

  • For me it was seeing 26 stone 9 pounds on the scale (373 pounds) and being about 5 stone (70 pounds) heavier than I thought I was.
