  • My NSV today: went to the gym and ran/walked over a mile and its a holiday!! My old self would have taken today to mean "cheat day", but I can enjoy the 4th and still be healthy! Great job to both of you ask well! :)

  • I'm hypo after having my graves disease treated with radio iodine and it has taken me almost 2 years to lose 70lbs. I eat around 1200 calories a day and I'm not the most strict with eating my exercise calories back. Sometimes i do, and sometimes I don't. That way if I'm over one day i don't freak out.

  • Remember that you didn't gain the weight overnight, so it's not going to come off overnight. Those .5 lb losses in a week are still worth something and add up in the long run! To go along with this is DO NOT WEIGH EVERYDAY!! Or even more than once a week, its just not necessary and you will stress yourself out!
