  • Boo!!! Hiss!!!! iamjeffb....and I am a bacon-holic...
  • Amen brotha! I'd even trade FOR the dehydrated pork patties to get away from that one. The small stock pile of little tabasco I had couldn't even make that thing pass my lips. It was worse than eatting the worms at SERE training (survival school for the non-military folk).
  • I'm not on it, but I think they are around 160-200.
  • I make my own McMuffin - better tasting and really fills me up. Rose - Canadian Bacon, 4 slices 80 CAL OR Roast Turkey lunch meat, 6 slices 80 Cals Egg Beaters - Egg Beaters, 0.5 cup(s) 60 CAL Orowheat - Double Fiber English Muffin, 1 muffin 110 CAL Total ~250 Cals Only takes about 3-4 minutes to make
  • The first Army Unit I deployed to a combat zone with is on my right shoulder
  • You shouldn't eat a 3 course meal then workout, however you should eat something before. If you get up and at the gym in 15 min. it's best to put something small in your belly - a small banana etc. It kickstarts your body to burn - there have been several articles about needing something in your belly to fuel your workout.…
  • I think that is supposed to be Polar F6.
  • I’ve actually read on numerous occasions that your metabolism has a 48 hour window for caloric intake. Simplified that if you are on goal to take in 2000 cal a day, and yesterday you ate 1500 technically you could eat 2500 today. There is some nutritional information out there that this is a good thing to do on occasion as…
  • As a recovering bacon addict - I have to say that actually looks tasty! I now know what my death bed meal will be.....
  • I'll throw my oddity out there - when doing weights it's always something kinda fast such as Audioslave, AC/DC etc as many have suggested before. However, for cardio (treadmill, elliptical, bike or running) no matter what I play I just never seem motivated and slack off subconciously (guess I'm bored). I went back to my…
  • Thank you! Did you serve? I'm guessing so since you spotted the AA. 82nd was the first unit I served with back in...well, we'll keep that a secret lol.
  • 70 min in the gym today both cardio and weights 1,020 - I really hit it today. Norm. I range from mid 700's to 1000 on days I go to the gym. Thankfully I'm so out of shape that I can burn that many
  • It's like a watch, so you really can't turn it off sorry. I've had mine for about 2.5 yrs now and never needed to change the battery - who knows how long it was sitting on the shelf, so I'm not sure what the normal life of the battery is.
  • Oh yes...Bacon-Floss - it's great!
  • One word....BACON. The real thick sliced pile on the whole package bacon... Now all I have to look forward to is my Bacon flavored floss.... http://www.mcphee.com/pixlarge/11847.jpg
  • My daily goal is 1900. The P90X program has you doing that ratio in it's "fat shredder" stage. While I'm not doing P90 at this time, my workouts are usually pretty intense and I usually burn around 800-1200 cals. I think I'm gonna go ChubbyBunny's route and tank up on some scotch tonight...maybe I can get a Dr. note saying…
  • I am having a tough time on some days to eat enough esp. when working out. Normally if I don't work out I've got a range of 300-700 cals below my daily goal (this is on top of the cals already taken out for the calorie deficit). Throw in a hour or two work out and I'm trying to shove 800-1200 cals down my throat after the…
  • I've looked into this program and it looks awesome - only problem where the heck are you supposed to put a pull up bar close enough to see a tv/dvd player? <sigh> I guess my choices are to have a very obtrusive bar hanging from the ceiling in the front room, or clean the garage out.... :noway: I think I'd rather give up…
