NO! What are you thinking? You will need to start incorporating cheeseburgers soon for optimal benefits. LOL, jk - your diet sounds really healthy and good. :flowerforyou:

Such a sad thread :,( I run 2 bookclubs, because I  to read. I meet really amazing people that way. Also, I have always met lots of awesome girls through work, and I've always had best friends. (plural) BUT, last year my very best bud had a high school moment and told me our friendship was over, so I've been looking…

We have a scale that measures our BF with electric current. My friend who is a personal trainer used the calipers to compare the readings - it was accurate 100% Too easy. :) But the scales were hellishly expensive - over $100.

Day 11 is day 1 of level 2

When I first started I was eating between 2000 and 3000 calories each day. Way too much for my 5'1 tiny frame. It took months for me to really WANT IT and make the changes. My advice? Just keep logging and when you're ready - GO FOR IT! :flowerforyou:

Me too!! I'm on week 3 day 1. Today I am having my first rest day as I woke with a sore shoulder. I haven't had any other rest days though and intend to start back tomorrow. I don't think it's fun. No, it's hard.

OMG, this is my motivation! Earlier this year my husband and I walked a bit of the Bright Angel Trail - about 6 miles (we had to turn back because my husbands back was hurting, plus we didn't leave early enough in the day to go much further). We are going again next year - I'm going to kick that trails butt! I'm doing ALL…

Here is the issue as I see it- If you eat junk food which many argue is 'cheaper' the most unfortunate thing is that it's NOT SATISFYING and IT IS ADDICTIVE. So even if you save $$ on groceries you're going to lose the savings on buying too much in an effort to satisfy your hunger and cravings. If I eat toast or beans for…

*kitten* - the great last minute gift idea. lol. My poor husband, I had to bake him bagels for his birthday breakfast - you can't buy them here in Brisbane, Australia. PS. I am a pretty ordinary bagel baker. :P

Wow, that is SO MEAN! If I were you I would have banned him from my house and my life. I'm pretty sensitive and I don't allow abusive people any opportunity to take endless potshots. :( Did your husband punch him in the face?

My stepdad used to put vegemite in his beef stews - makes an amazing flavour!

Mine is me lying on the beach at the lovely Gold Coast in Queensland Australia. Taken by my husband about 6 months ago - first time wearing this bikini (which was bought at Sexpo) lol :D

Thanks guys :flowerforyou: I just bought myself a waist runners belt from ifitness. I'll check out the earbuds at my local kmart... so many kids use them now, I'll try to get a childs size soft pair and hope for the best.

I would. As long as they had a nice personality, listened to me and were serious about helping me reach my goals - that's all I care about. And frankly, those qualities are not easy to find.

They are just normal - all humans resist change. You can either ignore the comments or tackle them head on. Either way they will go away, the kids will adjust and your body shape will become a non issue for them (as it should be) Congratulations and kisses xxx

*vomits* Denny's had these last year - I have pics from when one of our group ordered one.

There is nobody in America with my name. I live in Australia - I am most likely the only one here :)

I started yesterday with the free iphone app. (Have trained twice now) I have NEVER been able to run - I hope this programe works for me. I don't intend to have any rest days.

My husband and I have been using the free level 1 on youtube. Today is day 9. We have not skipped any days - even though we were super sore the first few days. I have ordered the DVD from ebay - hopefully it will get here soon (we will be stuck on level 1 until it arrives) we can't get the direct download from Amazon…

Congratulations! I throw food away all the time. When I was a kid we were VERY poor, very skinny and very hungry so as an adult I feel a compulsion to eat whenever food is available, because subconciously (sp) I am afraid there won't be any food later. It has been murder on the figure though. lol. I have never been able to…

My first reaction is to get defensive... I'm trying to stop that. It's my life and my body and I KNOW I don't have an eating disorder so why should I feel ashamed? So I try to ignore the barbs and if people get persistant I'll just tell them their comments are making me feel uncomfortable and they need to stop it and…

I've always had best friends - plural - always 2 at a time. Until I was about 26 or 27 when I becames just best buds with one girl in particular. I could and did tell her anything and everything. Until she 'dumped' me in February of last year for not being 'there' for her enough. After 10 years. Since then I've had no best…

I'm 5'1 and my goal weight is 40kgs. I don't know what that is in lbs? My current weight is 46kgs and my BF is currently 20% I ice skate and if I want to do the jumps it's important to have a low body weight as well as good musculature.

:D thanks. Photobucket steered me wrong. That's my husband in the pic.

Mate, I can't even do 1 minute! A big congratulations from me! :drinker:
-
Great thread. Mine was always falling between 2000 and 3000 - terrible for someone as short as me. It was VERY HARD to reduce this down - my bad habits were entrenched. :(

I think it's sad that some people get upset when others put pride in their appearance - like they just can't stand it, or they feel the need to make fun of them. Lots of younger people (and sometimes older) go to the gym to try to look better (not just for health reasons) and hopefully to meet someone, because they're at…

I only read the first 2 - and half of the 3rd (which was awful)

I'm Australian and knew who everyone on the list was. But I love the news especially the Drudge Report. Hell yes! I even know why peeps hate Mel Gibson and why OJ was number 7. Yes I get it. My personal top ten? I'll try to stick to famous people from the US. (in no particular order because I couldn't be bothered cutting…
