I wuld say they are just as bad, pretty much the same deal as diet pop. YOu can make your own green tea and chill it with some lemon, I would drink caffine free. Its not as sweet but you adjust to the taste, our bodies dont need artificial sweetners and sugar anyway :)

You gotta stay committed, if we rely on motivation its pointless because motivation comes and goes. Committment is whats gonna get you through, doing it even when you really really reaaallly dont feel like doing it. YOu should take measurments and photos and not rely totally on the scale for seeing results. Weight goes up and down a lot especially if you are gaining muslce, It may be possible that you lose fat and gained muscle. Dont get discouraged by results, if you are consistent they will come eventually and it will be worth it.

I love my ipod nano 16G. Its small fits lottts of music, and I just use the arm band I bought for exercise and tuck the wire in my shirt so it does not get in the way :) Only down side is when you sake them they go on shuffle, so you have to make sure the old button is on :)

I would watch out with potatoes if your trying to loose weight. You should eat very little as they convert into sugar and fat very easily. Other than that, I like mine with a little olive oil, onions, garlic and lots of herbs:)

I think the best way to detox your body is to eat organic vegetables and fruits and drink lots of water. I hate all of these things you can buy in stores not for quick weight loss and detoxing. Its all a money making scam, and its unhealthy. I hope you get better soon! Being sick is awful.

You should add in resistance training from the beginning. A lot of women do it backwards cardio then resistance training, you should do both at the same time. I read that the benefits of fruit outweigh its high sugar content. There is a daily recommendation for fruit so I would stick to that. I love this! Good post. I agree also its hard to avoid everything that's bad for you, but we are constantly learning, and if I found out something I was eating was really bad I would absolutely cut it out and find an alternative. Not that I dont have an occasional treat :)

Diet drinks are 100% absolute garbage, and they dont help you lose weight they do the opposite. They are sweetened with dangerous chemicals (artificial sweeteners). Hi! You should not focus so much on the scale, try taking measurments also. Weight is a tricky one and its not very accurate, I use it mostly as a guideline and try not to get too obsessed with it.
