  • if you download via torrents, I normally search under "workout mix" or similar, and get a whole whack of great tunes.
  • I have a Fitbit surge watch- it tracks my exercise (either auto or I can start manually), it logs my heart rate (both whilst exercising and resting), logs my sleep, calories burned..yadda yadda. I don't hold it as an exact number and work to that, but it helps me understand my workouts etc better than if I estimated myself.
  • tie your shoes really tight -if you can tape them on even better, cos the mud will definitely try and suck them off! Wear clothing and trainers that you don't mind throwing out afterwards! However, it's definitely a team thing - I ran mine in a team of 6 but all through the course other folks will help you…

  • It would be so easy if you could target fat in one area of the body, but it's an all over body thing unfortunately!! I think you need to look at your diet, maybe review your macros and see if those could be adapted. Plenty of support via youtube, many fitness mags have core workouts etc - if you are a gym member, speak to…
  • Hi, remember it's not just about weight though. If you are moving more, even light exercise, you may find that you might not lose loads of weight, but your body shape will change. And weight is about more than just what you eat. It depends on fluids you have taken in/expelled and all sorts. Don't look at the number and…

  • Hiya, Have you linked your fitbit and MFP accounts? You can link in the apps area, and then your steps will auto calculate from fitbit over so you don't really need to worry about doing it yourself.
  • http://theclubgym.co.uk/ - not open for members yet but am allowed to train with my PT. nothing better than an empty gym, new kit and peace to inspire a good workout!
  • hiya, your settings on here against the app ask if you want to include a negative count. I have my fitbit surge linked to mine, and it sets me a negative if i am well down on my steps or haven't logged exercise, but as your steps increase or if you log something, you'll see it will allocate "extra" calories to offset what…
  • I'm nearly 44, and am lifting about 90kg for 5 x 8 sets. Used to be much better, but dropped out of one gym to another and haven't done weights for over 2 years, and only back to it since October so am happy to keep progressing strength wise. Think my PT would like to see my weight change more, but am losing inches so…
  • one bad doesn't make you "fat", same as a one good meal doesn't make you "skinny". I would say all things in moderation, although that was a binge, but hey, you are back on it. No guilt. It is what it is. Who hasn't had the whole tub of ben and jerry's when the plan was 3 tablespoons?
  • Hiya, exactly the same - we could be twins! Happy to be a bud....
  • Cottage cheese. Just can't do it. The texture. Even the thought.....yuck!
  • HI there, My personal trainer has started talking to me about intermittent fasting and I came across this book on Amazon. I'm starting today - this is my up day and my first down day will be at work tomorrow, but I take protein shakes anyway, so taking 3 intead of 1 won't be a hardship for me. I've sent you a friend…
  • I am exactly the same. I have 2 personal training sessions each week, and go to betwen 4-5 classes in my gym per week and work out with kettlebells in the house. My PT is saing i'm not actually eating enough, and gave me a sheet with a typical day's food on it with the protein/carbs/fat worked out and I've been following…
  • I've also just started going to Zumba with a friend and it's brilliant!! You don't realise what a full body workout it is until you feel your muscles aching the following day. I'd definitely be up for a Zumba forum. Keep the hips swinging ladies!! sharon x
