Since the begining of this year when I started consistantly running I have been consistantly losing 1 pound per week. Now I also do a ton of other forms of exercise than just running, and I watch my calories to a T, but all I can say is no, I have not had a weight gain due to running.

Thank you very much :) I do truly want others to know that its not hopeless, that you can do it if you really want to. you need to want it for you, not for your spouse, but for you. that is the only way you will be able to do it completely :)

My friend and I just committed today to do the one in Victoria BC on 10-10-10. We already have a base of 7 miles ( that is what we are up to) so the training should go fairly well! I have 13.5 pounds left to go to reach my goal, I hope and pray I reach my weight loss goal by then as well. :) Good luck to you!!:drinker:

mine are beyond hope. You cant lose the weight I have lost and have them be even "OK" they look fine in a bra, then without one, they are pointing towards the floor :grumble: But on a side note, I do have fabulous chest muscles that you can see cause the boobs are so low ! lol Enjoy them!!:flowerforyou:

I drink one gallon of water a day, I make it my goal to drink all that, and in doing that, I find that I dont drink other crap, like Diet Soda, Cause it will interfere with my water intake LOL. ITs true though! I work out alot in a night, so I go thru about 33 ounces in my workout alone, the other 66 ounces I try to drink…

I love your answers!! I knew it would be a good read too! I have to say that in the last 18 months that I have been losing all my weight, I also I have been building lots of muscle. it does take a long time, but the muscle that I have amazes me. as the last of the fat melts away, my hard efforts in the last 18 months are…

I understand how you feel, I do, I was that very overweight person not too long ago , and I have lost my weight following MFP, counting my calories and sweating my butt off . BUT, I have to say, I dont agree with you at all here on this one. I learned thru a dear friend that her wanting to lose her last 10 pounds means…

Ok well. I dont think walking is enough , not when looking at the big picture. You really need to add some strength training in there too. Walking is a great form of exercise, but it shouldnt be your only form of exercise. You need to build muscle, and the more that you have, the more calories you burn :) good luck to you!…

The only calories I ever count are the ones burned while working out. anything else is normal stuff.
