I have followed MFP since Jan 2009. I have worked out 5x a week since Dec 29th 2008, Count calories in and out . I do strength training 4 times a week ( heavy weights) And cardio at least 5 times, sometimes 6 times a week. I feel pretty awesome! thank you!

I have lost 108 since Joining MFP , I had lost the other 50 in 2007, ( it was really 65 that I had lost, but had gained back 15 by DEC 08)

I wear a HRM , so I know how many calories I burn while doing it. I burn between 150-175 level 1 and 2.

this is what people do, they think cause they screwed up once, they have blown it, you didnt !! start fresh tomorrow! its a long road ahead of you ( sorry, but true) and you can beat yourself up every time you screw up. START FRESH TOMORROW MORNING, get some exercise, eat the right things, you will feel soooooo much better…

Almost never do I eat them all back. I stay around 1400-1500 a day. Sometimes I eat them all back other times I don't.

ohh I cook mine on Sunday nights for the week, so in the AM I just have to reheat real fast.

hmm I just put cinnamon and a packet of truvia in mine every AM . nothing fancy.

YES!!! eating ONE pickle can make you retain a pound of water the next day! it has so much sodium in it. I read that in one of Jillian's books and I never forgot that, or ate another pickle again!!:bigsmile:

good for you both for working through the feeling of giving up, I think that is what happens to most people, they get a few months ( or even a month) into it and they realize its not coming off the way it did before, and its really going to take some time to get all the weight off, and they give up. YEAH for not giving…

it does, just right under, tells you what you earned by working out, and it adds it to your daily calories. is that what you are talking about?

for my last 60 pound loss or so, I have focused on carbs, protein , fat , and sodium, As well as calories. But the first 100 pounds , I just watched the calories. Sodium is a big thing to watch just in general, so watch that! make sure you are eating enough protein , at every meal. you'll figure it all out , it takes some…

well you shouldnt be doing that. if you are working out that much, you need to eat more. the second you start eating , you will gain it back. You can not lose a pound a day and have it be healthy. they say, you should eat your exercise calories back. doing good with the working out and the water. you just need to eat more!…

trying to remember when it was my boys.. no straws, that I did know. jello, yogurt, eggs? I think after a couple of days you can eat normally again.. no popcorn!! lol

I think everyone is doing great! Being here and being aware of what you are eating is a huge thing! You must get in some form of exercise that will get your heart rate up and keep it up for at least 30 mins 3 times a week, that really should be the least that you do. ( And I dont think sweeping the floor counts as this .…
