This was two years ago, I have kept it off. I have had major injuries this past year ( tor calf muscle, stress fracture in foot, tendo damage, shoulder injury, torn bicep tendon) I spent 3 months not being able to work out. I gained 14 pounds back, but I have been back at the gym for a few weeks and back at it to get those…

I do too. Every time .

I wondered who that FR was from ! :)

before 330 pounds.. After 144 pounds. goal weight reached 2 years ago. took 2 years. I have been on MFP the whole stinkin time! :) :flowerforyou:

stay strong, and put YOU First. You have to do that. Get rid of the ones who are trying to take you down (you have to do that too!) and always remember "you are worth it!"
-
Jeanne , you have been there for me just as much I have been for you! you reached out to me while I was struggling with those last few pounds and you were so positive they would come off, you made me feel like it would to! you have been awesome, and I thank you :)
-
Mike, you inspire me daily! :)
-
so true... Who would think that ? people do, sadly. Thank you :)

and if I thought the first year of maintaining was hard, the second year with all the injuries was a huge eye opener! its hard to maintain, its harder when you can not workout , its even harder to be the fat person I once was.

Thank you!!! You have been there to watch so much of this journey, and you have been a great support for me too!! <3

Thanks so much! It is so hard to figure it all out, here I am two years later, still trying to figure it all out :) Best wishes to you! Tami

Thank you. MFP has been an amazing tool for me these past four years. I couldnt have done it without logging all my foods and seeing what I was doing. Not to mention the great support team of people I have met here over the years :) Good luck to you!!! :)
-
you do!! you look amazing! congrats!~

You dont, and you shouldnt. I have been at my goal for almost 2 years ( in a couple of weeks) and I spent the last year dealing with some major sports related injuries. MFP keeps you HONEST, and helps you through the times when you cant be perfect. I am always sad to see people leave, it is a daily part of my life, you…

I am 42, I was fat for all over my life up till 2 years ago... it wont get better for me , I have alot of muscle, I drink a gallon of water a day, I lost it slowly, ( over a 23 month period) , I did everything " they " say to do to help. My genetics suck, BUT all…

Come on dude.. get your act together!!! Seriously though... I know how easy it is to stay where you are,, to not work so hard, cause , hey, you are better than you were. Which is TRUE. BUT, you are not where you want to be!!!! Keep working just as hard, keep moving forward, kick some serious *kitten* mike! put YOU first,…

I am going to say it. IT MAY NEVER GO BACK TO NORMAL. I have been at goal weight for 2 years and it is not any better. For Some of us, it is NOT going to get better. I can say after 180 pounds lost, the "RIGHT WAY" , with strength training the WHOLE time, it didnt matter. I was fat for all of my life, my skin had been…

I went from a 48H to a 36 B

yes for almost two years now!

You can look at my before and now and you decide if its worth it. Then you can show your mom and ask her if she thinks you are wasting you time, I think the " I am afraid of loose skin " thing is a cop out.... its worth it. Its better than being fat, and its a whole lot healthier. TRUST ME!
