The heat and humidity are killer for sure! Even at 5 am... My goal is to drop my BF less than 25%. Not sure if that's doable in 4 weeks, but I'm going to give it a try. Nutrition is my weak spot.

I just had my 651 check-in with CG! Love it there!
-
Hi PumpIt, are you familiar with CG? Pm me if you want, I can explain a little about it.

I'm doing FIT this month too! Need the accountability!

Using a foam roller on either side of the shin bone helps too!

I train fasted mostly because it's first thing in the morning and I don't want to wake up earlier. I agree that it's personal preference. When I work out after eating I feel like it weighs me down and I get nauseated with intense cardio.

We have seasons....about a month each of fall, spring, and winter and 9 months of summer. :D

As is the case with many artists! *cough* musicians *cough*

I <3 Stephen King! He's so descriptive and thorough with the scenes... Every time a movie comes out I have to reread the novel before I see it. The films never do the books justice, but I have to watch just in case!

You look like a different person! Great job!

This. ^^ Plus, more muscle= more calorie burn throughout the day.

No. It IS denser, that doesn't make it weigh more. If you filled up 2 containers, one with fat and the other with muscle, the muscle would weigh more because it's denser(as you said). It takes up less space. That's why 155 lbs of mostly muscular person looks a lot thinner than 155 lbs. of a mostly fat person. A pound is a…

I workout first thing in the morning, so there is no time for me to eat before I go. So, fasted exercise it is!
-
What's going wrong, specifically?
-
lol ^^ The lime in my vodka!

So... you have too much time on your hands and not enough things to keep you occupied? If there was a friend request for the exact opposite of that, I'd fill that spot. j/k Good luck to ya. ;)

It's overwhelming to read the forums and try to interpret everything that's said. Move more and eat less, then you can worry about the specifics. That's how you start without stressing too much.

I suggest serving your plate, then put everything away. Then turn off the kitchen light to signal to yourself that the kitchen is closed.

My inlaws live in Mabank! I'm in Dallas. Welcome :)

Many restaurants have nutritional data on hand that they do not publish. If you know ahead of time that you'll be going, try contacting their customer service to ask about it. Otherwise, I would pick something that is basic in the recipe so you can log things individually. :)

I don't know anything about the bum knee, but it might help to slowly work up to your time/distance goal instead of trying to do it right out of the gate.

I agree with the above posters. Also, HIIT sprints are supposed to be very good for increasing endurance while on regular runs.
-
I made a new exercise named HIIT, and log what my HRM tells me I burned.
-
Still better than the 800 they gave me. :) That's around the number I got as well.
-
Sounds like a good plan. :) I didn't get a bunch of junk and "meaningless" calories, so I'm not upset about it. I'm fine with what I ate - it was delicious!
-
Well, damn. :o
-
Me too! That's why I'm questioning these weights. I can imagine the looks and sighs behind me....

But I didn't have 4.3 ounces of the stuff! lol I can't find anywhere that shows or says how big their serving scoops are.
