Ditto here. I am just looking at loosing a few more lbs of baby belly and keeping the weight off. I am using the mfp tracker just to make sure I don't go crazily over on calories and food :)

I have had two kids and the more weight I have lost the more droopy that stupid pooch of skin becomes. :( I am hoping as well that it will eventually tighten, but only time will tell, unfortunately.

Stick to their guidelines for a couple weeks and see waht results you get. If you don't see any loss, then just try to eat 2-300 calories under their suggestion. Then see if anything happens. It's all about finding a balance :)

Thanks everyone! I am glad I am not alone on this island lol. I think I will exchange the word "diet" with eating "healthier". Maybe it is just the stereotype of that word.

Agreed! :)

It has always been set to 1/2 lb per week. If this doesn't work i may just set it to maintain my weight, and try to be under. Though, the logging every day was what I gave up on so that is what I am trying to avoid.

I have always had my calorie goals at only 1/2lb per week. I have a hard time with portion control no matter what I eat whether healthy or not. I can go through a whole bag of cuties and still be hungry. The same thing is true with most vegetables. I think my problem is never feeling "full".

I was a single mom for a while with two boys, so I understand being wayyyyyy busy! Feel free to add me if you want. Good luck!

I answered my own question a few minutes after posting this. LOL I wandered around my settings until I noticed where to edit "starting weight". I will just add the difference in lbs on there, weigh-in with the new scale, and it should work.

I know that I have truly lost 7 lbs, it just won't show it on my progress report when I weigh-in using the new scale. I figured out just to add the difference onto my goals section for my starting weight.

5 ft 3 in and want to loose about 15lbs. Also, am trying to find my nice stomach again after having two kids :)

I like this one.....almost everything I eat can have cheese on it!

Plain baked potatoes are always good, and low in calories!! (75-100 depending on size) I use Ms Dash instead of salt and pepper to flavor it (zero calories!) and two dollops of sour cream (60 calories). You can use butter instead of sour cream, if you don't like it.

I agree! I would schedule in what you think you will be eating and just enjoy yourself.

My youngest son LOVES asparagus so we make that a lot, too. My eldest son hates both, so it's a toss up! LOL :)

Thanks :)

ummommyme: I love the profile pic!! He/she is sooo cute :)

I like being accountable, too. It has also opened my eyes to what is actually in the food you are eating. I am going to be 30 this year with two kids :)

Cheat meals are a great idea, especially if you use it at the end of the week to reward yourself for a job well done :)

When my hubby was unemployed and life got worse and worse...I gained 15 lbs and he lost 15 lbs LOL Stress can creep up on you and screw everything up. I understand.

Winter is deadly! Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas parties, cookies, candy, all the seasonal snacks, New Years! The worst is that I can hide in layers and sweaters cuz it is freezing LOL :)
-
Thanks for joining me! :) I hope we can be helpful to each other! My hubby has high cholesterol, so we are trying to get the whole family healthier. He seems to loose weight by just thinking about which isn't fair :( LOL

Thanks Everyone! I got some good ideas that I will try. :)
