I tend to shop food that does not go bad at the supermarket, i.e. meat and fish which can be frozen and some frozen veg. Throughout the week I visit the local shops and buy the fruit and veg for that day. I use to waste so much money on throwing away veg that was going off.

When I lose 30lbs, I am going to shop in high street clothes shops as I will be able to fit in the clothes!

Homemade Butternut squash soup with ginger and cinnamon - lightly brown one butternut squash (cubed), 1inch of ginger sliced and 1 whole onion in a tsp of butter. Add half tsp of cinnamon, salt and pepper to taste. Add water till it just covers the squash and boil until soft. Blend until smooth. Super yummy!
