I'm on week 2 of the C25K but I've been preparing to do it for a long time by doing a lot of walking. I would get an app like map my walk and just go out walking every day. You can then monitor your times and speeds. I've always walked a good bit despite being overweight but I went from about 3mph to over 3.5mph. I made…

Week 2 Day 2 done. I'm hoping I'm ready to up a gear for day 3.

I'm 36 and weigh 215lb's and 5 foot 4 and my average pace so far (only on week 2 day 2 is 9.30 per km. I am more than happy with that as I have some friends who are doing it. They have tried to go faster and have ended up with injuries. I figure if I can get through the programme at a slow pace once I have the stamina to…

Well done. I hope you are so proud of yourself for what you have achieved and by being such an inspiration to others.

Congratulations on your weight loss. You look amazing and are inspirational!

Great info. I just finished week 1 day 2 for the second time. I got injured 1st time I tried it because I was running too fast. I've now found some music that helps me set a gentler pace and it's working a lot better this time.

You look fantastic well done. I started at a similar weight and have a similar goal so it is great for me to be able to visualise what success looks like and can I say you look freakin' amazing.

You look great. Well done. Be proud of yourself.

I went as well. Loved it. Hate being back in the real world. You are very lucky to live in Pilton. What do the locals think of the Eavii?

I absolutely eat indulgent foods. I'm making a change for life and I want to live a longer healthier life but for me part of that is enjoying myself. If I'm miserable it will just feel like I'm alive longer. Everything in moderation is the key.
-
I've still got about 70lb's to go. I don't really have a fixed ultimate goal though. I'll see how I look and feel and what my body fat % is when I'm round about the right BMI.
-
I find it best to abstain for about 4-6 weeks and then try and re-introduce foods and learn to be moderate. It is something I am still learning and I'm not always successful but I have to keep trying as it is normal to eat both good and bad foods.

My goals are not so lofty. I still have a pair of Levi's that I last wore when I was 18 (I'm 35 now) No matter how much weight I've lost they've never fit me again. I would absolutely love to get back in them. The crazy thing is when I wore them I used to think I was really fat and i suppose next to some of my friends I…

Well done. You look amazing!

Well done. Great work. Proud to have you as one of MFP friends as you are an inspiration.

I count it if it's more than usual for example we were clearing our garage out last week. It involved a lot of heavy lifting and 2 trips to the tip. I ached for 2 days after which is more than when I do normal exercise so yes I'd count that. I don't always know a way to log it but it means I wouldn't worry too much if I…

Catcalls no they are horrible and primal. If you meet people in a more personal setting and they give you a compliment that's nice. If someone shouted after me in the street I'd be intimidated and wouldn't give them the time of day. I'd think the need to work on their social skills.

This is great. Annoying how when you start to read the comments though that idiots attack the guy for using the wrong words etc etc. Sometimes people just have to criticise everything he clearly meant it to motivate people like me and I'm happy to take the motivation and not second guess his every thought.

Up your calories to at least 1500 so you are allowed more food to begin with and ensure you are not eating below your BMR. Eat something filling for breakfast such as oatmeal with some protein powder or poached eggs on wholemeal toast and then if you still feel hungry drink a glass of water and wait a while to see if this…

Well done you look amazing.

I've not set an end date as the changes are for life but I'd like to be at my goal weight or very close by my birthday next July.
-
Walking is my main form of exercise and so far I'm doing ok. I've lost 16% of my body weight.

This is for life and not just until you get the weight off so find something you can do for life. Everybody is different even if something absolutely worked for something else it doesn't meant it will for you so read a bit and find the thing that works for you. This applies to food and exercise we all like doing different…

Thanks. I get the impression that fitbit is just as much guesswork as MFP so probably not for me.

Congratulations you must be so proud of yourself.

Congratulaions you must be so proud of yourself.

I started yesterday. 60 seconds never seemed so long but I managed it. Back out tomorrow for day 2.

I have over 100 to lose as well. So far I've lost 40 lb's so think I am well on my way. One thing I can say nothing beats this for me in terms of motivation and general happiness. I started dieting again back on January 16th. I went down to 1400 calories and by the start of February I was ready to give up until I read…

Wow you look amazing well done. I'm a similar height and starting weight so it is great for me to see what I'm shooting for. Thanks for the inspiration.
