Thank you! And I have not but I am willing to give it a try.

When I used Nutrisystem I used their diabetic program. Although I am not a diabetic, I do have PCOS and they're linked in some ways. It came with a booklet of recommended foods to buy and during that time span I did choose to purchase all lower-gi foods. I aimed for at least 40g of protein, 15g of fiber, under 30g of…

Thank you all for your support and kind words! And yes, so much better! I honestly have no idea how I carried all that extra weight I did. Also, I have higher energy levels and just more happy with myself in general.

How many times are you eating a day? Are you eating larger meals or splitting them up and eating many throughout the day?
-
Thank you everyone. You can do it! :)

Also, thanks in advance everyone. I had never truly 'dieted' until this. But I used Nutrisystem for the first year until I felt confident enough to continue on my own without the program. It helped me significantly I lost about 55lbs on the program and then lost an additional 20lbs without it. I basically used the idea of…

Can't really answer. I decided to start losing weight when I moved to a new state. No one here knew me other than my husband. And I can't really remember a time that he mentioned anything in regards to noticing a difference. [He was supportive and if it wasn't for him pushing me, I wouldn't be where I am.] However it took…

Not bad, but not good either. I ended up gaining four pounds but was quickly to lose it all when I got back. I made smarter choices at meals but it was cancelled out by the alcohol I consumed. I'm not normally a drinker, but figured hey, it's vaca. :drinker:

I've had it in for 3.5 years and love it. Don't know if I necessarily gained due to it because I was eating horribly and inactive so I'm sure that attributed more to me being overweight more than anything else. But, I have been able to lose a lot of weight with it in. We'll see what happens once its removed in another year…

It took me about a year and a half.

Not to mention vanity sizing. Sizing can vary depending on the store.

5'4" Starting 14-16's at 200ish lbs. Now 4-6 at 126lbs.

Yup. I weigh myself once a month. I was getting too emotionally caught up in the number and it wasn't healthy. I feel a lot better about myself now.

I've had Mirena in for 3.5 years and have had no issues. Cramping the first month which is normal and no periods since insertion. It's worked well for me.

115-120 depending.

Not with co-workers but with a specific friend of mine. No matter how many times I tell her that I am eating healthier, trying to lose the couple pounds I gained during the holidays, and don't want to dine out - she'll call me up and ask if I want to go to lunch/dinner or if I am with her a couple of times we've stopped at…

Are you seeing changes in the way your clothing fits? Or using a measuring tape and seeing if you're losing inches rather than weight?
-
Not going to lie, I love my carbs too much to have ever done low-carb dieting. Instead I switched to eating whole wheat everything. It's worked for me in the long run. However, most people seemingly lose more faster doing lower-carb.

Currently at 3.5 years and counting but I think most of it has to do with my IUD. Prior to my IUD I'd get my period 3-4 times a year. I'm really curious to know what my cycle will be like once I get it removed since losing all the weight that I have.

Bless this entire post! Thank you. I'm in maintenance mode now (although, trying to lose the couple pounds I gained over the holidays} but during my major weight loss I stuck to a 1200 cal diet and that is what worked for me and my body. And with that a lot of my PCOS symptoms have subsided. I have a lot more energy, my…

Not me. But each person is different.

I used it from October 2010-December 2011. It helped me significantly. I lost 60lbs on it using their lower GI plan. [I have PCOS]. Some of their foods I didn't like, but that was okay because I was able to customize it to have delivered the foods I did enjoy, and not to mention they have a section on their forums that…

Wedding rings. (Had them re-sized once, and will have to do it again.) My husband being able to wrap his arms all around me. He could barely get his arms around me before. Being able to grab my cheeks and flap them around to make that noise from your mouth when you pull back... lol yeah, dont ask about that one ha. But…

I think someone used it on another site one time and it stuck with me. I was able to refind it pretty easily on google.
