My quads were in AGONY for about 3 days but you just have to keep pushing yourself. It really does get easier, before i could barely do the jumping jacks for 30 seconds and now I can do 2 mins cardio with only one 5 second break. Just have faith in yourself :)

I'm on day 13 (should be day 15 but i took a days rest in each week) and i've lost 4lb so far and 5" in total. Started level 2 on day 6 though, keeping level 2 until next Tuesday and then I'll move up to level 3. Going to do it everyday now until day 30! I've noticed my stamina in cardio has increased greatly, and I can…

Has anyone had any shin pain since starting level 2? I've had it mildly yesterday and the day before, and then today when I tried to do it today they were just hurting too much. Hoping to catch up tomorrow, think I might lay off doing level 1 in the evening and just go walking instead :ohwell:
-
Yes, I love the feeling of resisting temptation! My friends had pizza AND ben and jerrys on saturday night and I stuck to my pasta. I think I just beat myself up too much sometimes, I mean I've done the 30 day shred twice today so I think I should be fine

It's bugging me, I feel like I'm becoming too neurotic about everything and should just enjoy it! Oh well, I think as long as I don't indulge into temptation for the rest of the week I should feel ok :)

Completed LV2D5 (day 15 in total) today. Started doing level 1 again in the evenings too. It's surprising how much easier LV1 is to LV2. Has anyone weighed in yet or measured?
-
i just did level 2 on day 5...it was a killer! think i might have started it too early but i could just about do it.
-
LV1D4 done. Legs aren't as sore today, I can actually walk normally now! Had a quick look at Lv3 today and it looks hard but quite fun!
-
woah 70g a day? looking through my diary I average on eating twice that amount! i might try sticking to 100g for a week and see how i get on
-
Starting LV1D3 today. Thighs aren't as sore as they were yesterday, I can walk more normally which is good! Any idea when the soreness eases off?
-
LV1D2 complete. My legs were so sore this morning, managed to power through though. I found the cardio particularly jumping jacks easier to do today. Hoping this soreness will settle down by the end of this week! Do you guys measure/weigh after each 10 days is complete or do you wait right until the 30 days?
-
Thank you  That would make more sense, didn't think of that heh! Turns out I've burnt more than I thought then.
-
I just listed it as high impact aerobics but i'm not sure if that's correct or not.
-
I just completed D1 Lvl 1....my legs will not stop shaking. I didn't think it'd be too bad because I usually do about 30 minutes of Tae Bo a day but that totally kicked my butt
-
Hey guys I just ordered the dvd today and got a bit confused. I thought it was a 60 minute workout but it's just 20...is that enough or do you guys do any other means of exercise?
-
i would probably log it at 2.5mph (leisurely pace) and then guestimate how long you walked for?

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/160943-why-the-scale-lies?hl=why+the+scale+lies&page=1#posts-2150279 Read this article. I felt just like you last week and it's made me feel so much better. Keep calm and carry on :flowerforyou:

I have an unfortunate habit of weighing myself everyday. I read an awesome article (check it out!! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/160943-why-the-scale-lies?hl=why+the+scale+lies&page=1#posts-2150279 ) on here somewhere that you have to eat 3500 calories extra to your calorie intake to gain a pound...so I highly…

I was barely getting 1000 a day and burning off 500 with exercise, I've been advised to get all of your 1200 plus half of your exercise calories so at the minute i'm averaging between 1200-1400. Next weigh in is Wednesday so I'll keep you updated! Just keep your water intake up and sodium low aswell (I know everyone says…

I did the advanced abs and glutes today and it nearly killed me!

I don't think there is any proof in marijuana helping weight loss. One of the side effects is the 'munchies' afterwards so surely you'd just gain weight if anything?

I'm trying to ween myself off of weighing in everyday. It can be very discouraging as your weight fluctuates so much due to water, so if you can once a week. Some people do it once a month. I'm not weighing myself again till Feb 1st. Always make sure to do it in the morning after you've used the bathroom as that's when…

Slimming tea? That's just another word for laxatives. Senna is in exlax and also senokot which is a 'natural' laxative.

I've been really struggling to eat my calories lately, I usually average between 800 and 1000 and burn between 500-600 a day with tae bo. I am now making a conscious decision to try and get between 1200-1500. My weight loss has been bugging me lately, I've hit a real low and some days I'm a pound or two heavier than I was…

Thanks everyone! I had fajitas yesterday for dinner and there was quite a lot of seasoning in the vegetables and the chicken so I think it must have been pretty sodium rich. I'm upping my water intake this week and i'm going to try and not weigh myself again till next Monday :-) evil scales! Hehe.

Light soy milk and half spoon sugar.

I weigh myself every morning. I wish I had the strength to do it just once a week!
-
Thanks for your support everyone! Well I've managed to lose the 3lb I gained over Christmas, but I've just been stuck at the same number since last week. It's very frustrating when I'm used to losing 1-2lb a week! I'm not going to weigh myself till next Wednesday now and carry on with my Tae Bo and eating well and…
-
I would just list it under Tae Bo :) just type it into your exercising and it'll come up, all you do is list how many minutes you do it for.

Count me in! Can't wait to get into the swing of things after Christmas festivities. January 3rd 2010- 180lb
