30 year class reunion this summer. Any mention of "Happy Days" "Little House on the Prairie" "The Waltons" Youngest son (21) getting married in 4 weeks....and leaving for the Navy in September. Oldest son (almost 24) has a 5 month old baby. Kids I coached in Jr. High are MARRIED and have MULTIPLE kids (on purpose)! LOL My…

Fanstastic. You look great! All your hard work is paying off! Congratulations!

I'd put it toward a new kitchen table and chairs. We bought our table 14 years ago and it has been used HARD...with 2 sons and their buddies. We currently have 3 chairs of the original four. :) We definetly got our money's worth out of this one! If I had a true "wish" thing---it'd be a 2 person glider for the sun porch.

Do you live next door to the guy who gets his morning paper in the nude? :)

Oh, Kristen! That was exceptionally stupid/hurtful....I'm shocked. I'm extremely NON-violent, but I think you showed admirable restraint! :)

This just brought back some funny (happy) memories....can't say how many times this happened at restaurants for our "pre-game-meal" the DUH factor makes you shake your head, but I *wish* I'd been confident enough to use the "Gymnast" or "Horse Jockey" response! :) Thanks for the laugh today!

Don't forget QUICHE or frittata! Yum. Excellent source of protein with the eggs...and wonderful nutrients with the veggies!

I lOVE veggies....we just did 2 "new" things the last week or so that were DELISH. Use cauliflower as "mashed potatoes"...we just steamed it, smashed it, added some real butter, a couple tablespoons 1/2 and 1/2, salt and pepper. Yummy. Mother's Day dh and I grated brussel sprouts, sauteed them in a bit of coconut oil with…

I lost my Mom when I was 7. This is my 40th Mother's day without her. Although, I don't have many of "my own" memories of her. I know how much she loved my sister and I. I treasure memories shared by my mom's family. I think I'm alot like her....very goal-oriented. She was a Calculus/Trig teacher. I'm a teacher. She was an…

Sarah, I *loved* the pics of your heels. :) WISH, I could feel confident enough to wear something like that, but alas I think an ER visit would be in my future! You GO, girl!!

Word of caution, when they start sliding up and down by your knuckle--TAKE THEM OFF!!! :) Word-from-the-not-so-wise. I lost my wedding band two days ago. Thankfully I KNOW it's IN our house because I can remember taking both rings off (one on left hand, one on right hand) to put hand lotion on earlier that evening. Later,…

This struck me as SO funny. :)

Welcome, Liz! :) I'm probably the "geezer" of the group, but if you don't mind an "old" friend....feel free to friend me. Reading thru your intro made me smile....and thiink of myself years ago. :) I'm all for your goal of "a healthy BMI" but would cautiion not going TOO thin. I'm 6' and shooting for 175-ish. I may…

I'm 6' and hubby is 6' 4"...we've been married 27 years. :) Thank goodness I didin't meet hubby til he was in college! In high school, he wore 29 X 36" jeans. Can you say PVC Pipe?! Thankfully, he filled out a bit before I met him! I think his waist has stayed the same or expanded only by 1 or 2 inches in our 27 years.…

I ordered a XL t-shirt a couple weeks ago....haven't had any new tees in a while. Shrug. Wasn't sure what size, but I'm not too much into "snug" stuff (picture 6 foot snausage). My friend dropped it off this morning. Anyway, I tried it on and realized it's LOOSE! An XL is loose on me!! Yay!! :)

I don't know how to post pics....but SO glad you gals have shared! If I get it figured out, I'll see if I'm brave enough to give it a go. I'm no where NEAR how buff you sweeties are!
