Would love to join too. I had two under 2 and my youngest is almost 4 months. I’ve been exercising and lost all but the last 10, but diet, especially at night, is a challenge. Last night I ate a third of the Costco size bag of kettle corn 🤦🏼♀️

I'm going to add my own 2 cents. I was diagnosed with PCOS about 6 months ago. I never knew I had PCOS because I was on the pill for years and I was always very active. When I went off the pill a little over a year ago I put on 10 lbs very quickly (almost all of it my stomach, which was always flat). I have tried to loose…

I used to work out 1.5- 2 hours 5/days a week and a dream body. But life gets in the way and I'm lucky if I can squeeze in small workout here and there. I'm curious too to see the advice given on here.

I am also looking for friends for support especially those trying to eat less (but they're so good!) carbs. In my 30s. Would love some lady friends in their late 20s-40s.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm trying to find a nutritionist to help me start this plan. It's very restrictive, but I've tried everything for my tummy problems

I drink dandelion tea. It is a natural diuretic. I find that many foods, especially "healthy foods" make me bloat so I also pay special attention to my food journal.

If anyone is interested in doing this message me as I will no longer look at this thread. This board went a total different direction then I had intended as I was not looking for advice or someone to tell me what I want to do is wrong or foolish, but support.
-
Totally agree. I did this before and I noticed how much less I craved sugar.
-
Awesome. Glad to have some support. My friend has lost 40 lbs on the diet so it is totally doable.

Have you figured this out? I'm having the same problem with my polar RCX3

I personally love Bar Method and have seen results in less then a month, but I take the classes in a studio. If you're not doing the right form I imagine it hinders your results. Often I think I'm doing a move right, but sure enough the teacher comes over to correct me and then I really feel the burn.

I wear my heart rate monitor for bar. I'm 5'4 and currently 127lbs. I drip sweat in most classes and am shocked that many others don't. I burn between 350 cals / hr to 400 cals / hr in the beginner class and 400-450 cals / hr in the intermediate class (level 2). I already see results in less then a month. My butt looks…

Thanks for everyones replies. I bought a heart rate monitor and I'm very pleased with that device for calorie tracking.
-
I keep trying, but boy is it hard not to eat any carbs.
-
I think the last thing you need to worry about is weight if you are 5'4" and 110. If anything you are on the low side of healthy weight.

I think what you have to remember with IF is that you can't eat anything you want (no you can't eat cheesecake only during your 8 hour window). You need to eat low carb and high protein. My boss swears by IF and has lost 20 lbs in a year, but I simply can't eat low carb since I get too cranky.

I've been trying to lose 10 lbs for 2 years. Grrr. I'm in for (attempting) the challenge.

Binges happen. I say brush it off, clean up the diet, and exercise if you can. The key to life is balance so torturing yourself for going over calories is not going to help.
-
Cottage cheese and tuna? Now that I may have to try.

You look great! Keep up the good work!

I've read online that week 1 of Ripped in 30 burns around 185 cals. I currently weigh 122.3 (at least I did last Monday) and I've calculated I burn about 185 including the warm up and cool down. My heart rate averages in the fat burning zone. I am also quite active, but I agree with everyone who says this workout feels the…
