typical mother behaviour. I'm meeting mine in two weeks and already starting to brace myself :P Your diary looks yummy. If you have the chance, a talk with a dietician could help you to be more certain of your choices. but there's also plenty of articles and helpfull people in here.

personally after I got my HRM I log my net calories, not my total burned calories for the exercise. so for every hour of exercise I take away 100 cal from the total burned. It's not accurate, but close enough for me.

I did day 1 lvl 3 of 30days shred today. That was hard. I kinda feel queasy.

nowadays, repeatedly by a friend who's tiny and is exercising "to loose 5 pounds". I sometimes wonder if I should offer her 50 of mine. Just yesterday she came over, and said "you don't need those" when she noticed my handweights. uh, what? I guess she's just being nice, but it is hard for me not to laugh at her :P

That made me laugh. I once overheard a girl saying maybe the secret to getting a boyfriend was to not brush her teeth (she was under the impression from my "nice" ex-roommate that I didnt brush). Maybe you should suggest to the co worker that if she made herself ugly she might be able to get a non-jerk boyfriend. :P

you are calculating it right. give the 1500 cal a chance for two or three weeks. see how you feel. its normal to gain after increasing, your body needs time to adjust ;)

painkillers. healthy eating. gym. that combination has lessened my "unable to operate" time to maybe half a day (at my worst it would be a day or two, ugh). it really does help to exercise. also, if you are having extended pains you should go see a doctor.

/agree sure, sometimes it might be born of jelousy but often it's because a) they want you to feel happy about yourself now or b) they think you weight less than you do and are worried you'll go too far.

check with your doctor why he says 140. also see if he has comments on the big/avg/small bonesize. and listen to your body rather than the scale.

some of it will come back, and then go again and so on. dont worry too much about it week by week (definately not day by day!). as long as you are eating healthy and the right amount, it will come off.

don't be afraid to start the shred and do the easy version of the exercises.

tell the mean voice to STFU and focus on the good things about yourself any time the negativity starts. That works for me most of the time. When it fails I go crying to my SO :P Also, I hope you are getting treatment for the depression? Professional one that is.
