  • I know the feeling! and I promise it does get better. Both cause you start loosing weight, and you get used to the movement. It helps to do some lifting as well to strengthen your chest muscles. I just did day 3 of week 4 today, since starting again on week 4 after christmas. I was on week 6 before christmas but felt I was…
  • hmmm that would certainly be a challenge for me. but I'm trying to do more and more so sure! so far 2.5 miles :P
  • wii fit and fit plus - fun, light exercise star wars, the force unleashed (and other fighting games) - fun to do battle in (you can get away with random waving of the controler, but you can also do proper form sword fights, though it depends on the quality of the game. read reviews well before buying >.<) EA sports active…
  • Hi, fairly new to Jillian but love her. I've done lvl 1 and 2 of 30day shredd before christmas but decided to start over since I have proper handweights now. I really like the change this is pushing on my body, my bottom feels like it halfed in size since starting <3 Before I was just doing 30 min of elliptical every day…
  • 1 week of lvl 1 and then 2 weeks each of lvl 2 and 3. Doing one day per workday with weekends off. Should keep me busy :)
  • I like your idea but due to the challenge rules I'll have to step out. I will not cut red meat or dairy (although most dairy I eat is low-fat, the cheese I do eat fat). Nor do I want to go through finding the special ingredients when I dont know what they would be called here. Best of luck all.

  • I agree with this advice. He gets a bonus point for taking care of his mother. yes its a "baggage" but it also shows him to be a Good Guy. As to a crappy job. Allot can happen between now and when you plan to move away. Maybe you will inspire him to rethink his carreer. Even if not, the time you spend together and being…
  • mine didnt like it at first - thought I was going to force him to count calories and stop eating his chocolate and pizza. Took an argument and a talk but now he's being supportive :) especially after the hard work started to show some results. he would still let me pig out, and wants pizza and other unhealthy foodsies -…
  • SW - 212.7 lbs (Thursday Dec 1) Week 1 - 209 lbs (Thursday Dec 8 ) Week 2 - xxx lbs (Thursday Dec 15) Week 3 - 206 lbs (Thursday Dec 22) Week 4 - 206.2 lbs (Thursday Dec 29) Total lost - 6.5 lbs (Sunday Jan 1) No real change since last week - but it was christmas so happy about that :)
  • At first I thought I had scrolled over 2 posts. Then when I realised, I got tears in my eyes. You've done so well! :flowerforyou:
  • If its something you do normally, don't log it. Personally, anything under 30 minutes that doesn't really break a sweat (walking to and from work, cleaning, laundry etc) I don't log. I'm sure I make some errors in the calories counting on the food side anyway. But yes 40 cal burn while sweating sounds small, sure you…
  • Start lifting. For sure. Gain muscle and stop worrying too much about the weight. You will tone up, muscle will weight as much as fat but look much better ;) You can read this for inspiration: http://nerdfitness.com/blog/2011/06/13/60-pounds-overweight-to-6-pack-abs/
  • drink milk. and eat cheese and jogurt. I love dairy products but also if I dont consume enough of them my nails and hair suffer. I'd rather not take supplements for that, since I know I'm fine as long as I drink 1-2 glasses of milk per day :) Then again, I come from a country where dairy products are and have always been…
  • 200 or so. I'm 50lbs heavier than you and am burning 250 according to HRM, but I've seen people say around 200 on the forum before.
  • Name: Rosa CW: 206 lbs GW: 195 lbs Accomplish: Stay below 200lbs, be able to run for 30 min non stop and see upper arm pouches go away
  • well done! That is a really great achievement
  • i like the FT4. Has all the basics one could need (alarm, clock, HRM and calories at end of exercise) and can access the data afterwards as well. It is easy to set up and I dont notice the chest strap at all. Bit odd at first to wear the watch, but that's because I normally don't wear one and I'm sure I'll get used to it.
  • an HRM and 2kg handweights. Yarr! and already tested them :D also 4 classic literature novels and a Warhammer Fantasy Orc Boss
  • I finished L2 before the weekend, but with new, heavier handweights I decided to start lvl 1 again today. I feel a huge difference after the first 20 days so hopefully I'll be able to follow Jillian more than Anita this time around ;)
  • I keep whining that my arms are not strong.. so this is definately something I should work at! :)
  • SW - 212.7 lbs (Thursday Dec 1) Week 1 - 209 lbs (Thursday Dec 8 ) Week 2 - xxx lbs (Thursday Dec 15) Week 3 - 206 lbs (Thursday Dec 22) Week 4 - xxx lbs (Thursday Dec 29) Total lost - xx lbs (Sunday Jan 1) I was sure I posted last week, but cant find my post. Odd. Anyway 206 this week :D
  • let him laugh, then challenge him to try and laugh at him :D mine stays "out of my way" when I exercise - his own words and idea. but that might be because when I got the EA sport active game I made him try a full exercise routine and we laught at each other soooo much. Anyway, you are going to look silly while exercising…
  • you are super cute! well done <3
  • SW: 211 lbs CW: 207 lbs :)
  • Try boiled water, but after it has cooled down a bit. For some that is better than straight normal cold water.
  • Gave up on the 12 day thing.. those planks are too hard for me for now :/ Going to try again after christmas. the 30ds L2 should make me more ready for them ;) otherwise, water, exercise and calories all check. Last day in this is in 2 days right?
  • My SO carefully admitts that he likes that I'm getting fit - extremely shy about it first probably because he didnt want to hurt my feelings since I've been fat for quite a while. He is supportive in a quiet way, saying well done when I reach a goal or saying I am looking somewhat better when I'm asking. I asked him the…
