I've come back after putting a lot back on - I eat when I am stressed too. I started just logging exercise and trying to log in every day, now I am trying to log absolutely everything I eat and completing my diary at the end of the day. I find it really motivating to see where I could be in 5 weeks.
-
Are you logging everything? Two meal replacement bars and a salad meal with celery snacks doesn't sound like you are eating enough.

Missed me in Yorkshire.

West Yorkshire - from the Midlands via Middlesex and Kent.

Well done! I love c25k. I did it last year and now run a slow 5k every Saturday and try and do a mid week run too. Week 5 was a great feeling!

Well done :) I've still got a way to go, but I am going to celebrate when I get there! You've earned a treat.

I am not cut out to be a runner, I couldn't run for a bus last year. BUT last Christmas I downloaded the c25k podcasts from http://www.nhs.uk/LiveWell/c25k/Pages/couch-to-5k.aspx#close and ran the program in 9 weeks (starting when I was 280 lbs) Very very slowly. I now run 5k most Saturdays with parkrun…

yes. I fell off a couple of times 20 years ago and ended up in hospital. No real harm done but it makes you think!

Hi there, well done on changing your lifestyle. I'm not ready to go the vegan route, but I know I eat too much sugar...

"When you are still sitting on the couch - you're going too slow. " ^ this! My pb is 48 minutes for the 5k. I love running parkrun although I'm not much faster than walking pace. Time to work on your speed at the end of the 9 weeks, work on your endurance and find a comfortable pace for you. :)

Yay! Well done Sparkle :) Super pics
-
Thanks for reminding me of this. I just checked and there are 4 episodes on iplayer until 30/08

Ow! Nice ride - you won't forget the suncream next time.

I am too fat to run so I did the nhs choices c25k jogging very slowly and still don't really run until the finish. Came 202nd in my local 5k parkrun yesterday, but I'm not disappointed to come last, just getting up and jogging around slowly is an achievement. Going slow and wearing good trainers reduces the impact and a…

Ey oop! I've done parkrun in Bradford for the last 6 weeks. Saturday 9am don't forget to register and take your barcode :)
-
I did C25k starting after Christmas - have run a few 5k parkruns since then http://www.parkrun.com Came in 169th this morning as I run slowly around the 50 minutes mark. It's great fun and I'm planning on speeding up as I lose weight :)
-
well done for changing your lifestyle and losing so much weight. My breast cancer was the kick that told me I had to lose weight and I am trying to live a more active life and eat less rubbish... Loving mfp and c25k.

I weigh on my wii fit and the English version has the option of stones or kgs, not lbs so I always weigh in stones and have to convert (multiply by 14 and add on the loose lbs) to get my lbs number to enter into mfp. I never knew anyone who weighed in lbs before mfp!

Hi there! I find the forums a bit of a timewaster, but do like seeing the sucess stories! Went out for lunch today then dh went for chinese for tea even though I said I had no calories left :( Just had a taste but a bit annoyed tbh. Have managed to log again and it really shows up my chocolate problem :(
-
good running shoes and sports bra (ladies!) and go at your own pace. I did c25k and it was great. My first 5k race took me 50 mins but I will work on speed when I lose more weight. I'm much faster than when I started, but I would say concentrate on distance and not speed.

Mmmm cake! Had half a chilli chololate barbequed banana yesterday... better cycle to work...

wow! Love the way your top looks longer :)

paruls just watch your weight and that will mean your body won't have so much to do to get back in shape. Underwater delivery at home is my choice, I'm relaxed in water and I'd choose a good home midwife over a doctor and hospital any day! Depends what you are comfortable with though and what facilites are available. I had…
