  • Was this for me? Are we supposed to be posting our weights somewhere else? Thanks.
  • Had my Green Team weigh in today and I'm back down to 157.4:happy:
  • Chin up, buttercup:bigsmile:
  • I think we just post here whenever we want.
  • You just did it:laugh: Just make sure to check back here periodically and let us know how you're doing.
  • So after my Green Team weigh in today, I need to lose 8.3 pounds to get out of the 150's. So, that's my goal - 8.3 pounds.
  • This is too funny:bigsmile: My daughter told me the other day that she had "chin" splints. I was at work and read her e-mail and burst out laughing. Soooo, when I saw the title for this post I just had to read it. You have made my day and I thank you for it:flowerforyou:
  • I'm going to go jogging with my 9 year old god daughter then go home and do the 30 day shred.
  • I'm in:smile: I'd like to lose 8 pounds. Right now I'm at 157 but have my Green Team weigh in on Wednesday so I may be changing my goal. I just want to get under 150:grumble:
  • Oohh, that's a tough one. If it were me, I'd probably have a protein drink or bar around 5:45 then a very light dinner when I got home.
  • I usually get a foot long turkey on wheat, american cheese, mustard, lettuce, spinach, tomatos, pickles and carrots and get either a yogurt or apple slices and a large iced tea. I eat half the sandwich for lunch with the yogurt/apples and tea and eat the other half for dinner. Actually, that's what I have for today:laugh:
  • Yeah, I think there are probably a lot more people with vitamin deficiencies and they don't even know it. I always suspected I had a deficiency because I have pale skin and I would get symptoms of that SAD (seasonal something or other desease?) Hopefully with our new found eating habits we will get all the vitamins we need…
  • I have to go back some time this month for more blood work and if everything's looking good, I'll probably go on a reduced prescription like you. I also have a thyroid condition with a nodule on my right side so I've been going to the dr. a lot this past year:grumble:
  • I also have a vitamin D deficiency that was found through routine blood work. I am now taking 50,000 IU twice a day. Race results aren't posted yet:angry:
  • I'm in between Sacramento and San Francisco.
  • Hi, NW. Congrats to you on your weight loss!! I'm on the Green Team too (go green!!) I know how you're feeling this week. I've been losing a pound a day for the last 3 days. For so long I fell into the trap of needing to eat less to lose weight. Seems now that the more I eat (healthy, of course) the more I lose and I'm…
  • So I got back from my run about an hour ago. I did my best run to date:bigsmile:   My time was 42:24 I was able to run the whole first mile, most of the second mile and the whole rest of the race. Me and REO Speedwagon spent alot of time together that last mile and a half:love: I'm not sure yet how I…
  • Congrats and good luck on your 10k. I'm doing a 5k tomorrow and am going to try to actually run the whole thing.
  • Thanks, jacque. And don't be too hard on yourself over yesterday. Just chalk it up to needing it and do better today. Obviousy your body was in need of not only sleep but some kind of nutrient (maybe sodium?) Today's a new day:bigsmile: Good luck this weekend everyone.
  • Hey, team. Just thought I'd let you all know I've got a 5k on Sunday. Does anyone else do any kinds of races? I don't really race, I just do it for fun and to see if I can improve my time each time. I'd like to work up to a 1/2 marathon in October. I've done that route before and it's fairly easy. I just need to condition…
  • Thanks, and congrats to you, too:smokin:
  • I'm so confused:frown: Wednesday I had a really hard time eating all my calories but did my normal exercise routine. Yesterday I did really well with my calories but did not workout. Today, I get up and weighed myself, down another pound:huh: I'm not sure really what's going on put I won't complain about a one pound loss.…
  • Welcome, purrr. I'm sure there's still room, but do send n2 a request. We are on our 3rd week and everyone has done and been so amazing:heart: I think you'll really like it here.
  • I would suggest getting a pedometer that measures steps, calories burned and distance. You could then just enter that under cardio as walking.
  • I have a Sportline HRM that uses ECG accurate heart rate readings (it's the same technology used for an electrocardiogram, measuring the electrical signals in your skin). What I want to know is, is this as accurate as a HRM that has a chest strap? I'm very curious because I've never been able to get an accurate calorie…
  • Ooohhh, how fun:bigsmile: Where are you goig and which cruise line are you going on?
  • Thanks everyone for all your responses. I'm hoping today was just a fluke because since starting MFP I've had no problem eating breakfast. Well, tomorrow is another day so we'll see how it goes. Thanks again!
  • I originally posted this on my Green Team page: OK, I need some help. I didn't eat breakfast or morning snack because I just wasn't hungry:embarassed: For lunch I had a six inch Subway turkey and american cheese sandwich on wheat with mustard, lettuce, spinach, tomatos, pickles and carrots and a bag of their sliced apples.…
