I disagree. I've been on over 20 different psych meds in my life. Ive always been a naturally thin person until I started specific meds. For me it was lithium and seroquel. I could eat nothing but a small cardboard box for the day and still the pounds were packed on. Certain psych meds are "weight neutral" though.

You look great! #5 has happened to me :-(

I enjoyed reading everyones posts. It makes me feel less alone. I'm allegedly a Bipolar 1 more on the depressive mixed moods side. I've been like this since I was 14, I'm 41 now. Misdiagnosed with major depression until I was 36, so all the 25+ medications the dr gave me didn't do a thing and sometimes made me worse as a…

All I eat today will go under the 12th even though I'll be eating when it's technically the 13th later tonight. Being a night owl throws off what to categorize my meals under, hmmmm breakfast at 1pm lol

The moment I saw a small bulge forming above my belly button. I'm not going to deal with a middle aged bulge!

Hello , I followed you from looking at your profile as you posted under the topic about looking for some friends. I have fibro also. See disjointed sentence above ^ for example of fibro fog lol. I had a bad flare after a pregnancy that has calmed down over the last year but the fatigue and pains are still present so I…

Unfortunately I can't help you much as I do the same to myself sometimes. I hold myself to rigid standards and rules that I would not apply to other people. I'm harder on myself than anyone else. I have to pull myself out of it by taking myself out of the equation. Ex, would you have expected someone else to run when they…

Maybe swimming? Depends on which way it hurts when you move your ankle I suppose. Have you asked your Dr? If you're unsure I don't know if it'd be a good idea to do something that might cause more injury and then you're laid out longer.

I had to give my scale to my roommate lol. Its not helpful for me as I get to upset if things arent moving along the way I think they should be. I am however a measurement addict. Thats annoying too! Ive found things fluctuate so much its hard to get a good read as ive seen a scale gain of 4 lbs during my period or times…

I hate you? And seriously, moving to a different table? It might be one think to "jokingly" say I hate you, but to move tables and shut you out is ridiculous and immature. I'd find some new buddies.

Anyone? My food diary should be public

Just forget it and move on! Congrats on one month of serious work :-) Does it work for you to allow yourself small treats here and there? I think they make lil cheesecake bites. That way you won't feel like going crazy heehee.

Thank you for the reassurance. Ive been working out really hard and it's also 90+ temperatures where I live. So I'm usually just hot and tired.

Well I think we're on our own Jenny. Maybe I should post it in nutrition instead. I did read from browsing that adding some nuts can boost our calories up fast. Think I'll try that for now.

Maybe its the evening workouts that does it? Thats when I have the time to stay and work harder though.

Aww I'm sorry. I had a missed miscarriage at 13 weeks. With a d&c also. You said it was just last week? Be aware your hormones may take a bit to balance out. Be gentle with yourself. Took me about four months to stop crying all the time. But I eventually found something positive to uplift me. Feel better soon.

I've made the decision recently to start lifting heavier, now that I'm over the fear of getting bulky. Ive mostly been doing machines as I haven't gotten my confidence up to do the free weights. I feel very awkward in the "big" weight room! Watching the exercises on You Tube is a good idea.
