I agree with ddavenport63 about the magnesium supplement. I also take 5HTP as well which helps with serotonin production. Those coupled with the progesterone mini-pill have kept me sane. Once you get into a routine, you'll hopefully be allowing yourself rest days. For me it's usually a case of swapping my rest days around…

I'm getting married September 2016. Feel free to add me - it'll be good to have some other brides for motivation!

From London here, feel free to add!

5' 0 here. Started at 210 last year - got down to 176 but then put most of it back on. Around 195 now and ideally want to get to 133 by September, but would take 154 as that was my university weight!

UK Bride-to-be, my wedding is Sep this year. Looking to lose at least 50lb hopefully more by then! Have sent a few of you friend requests - please feel free to add me too for support!

Morning: 35 minutes of intervals on the treadmill (9 km/h in fast and 7 km/h in slow). Evening: 45 minutes breaststroke laps (1600m in total). Plus some DIY (hanging curtains and lights) and some incidental walking.

Thanks both - I will have a go at both of these over my next few work outs to see which fits with my pace and fitness.

I have a panache underwired one that is good. Worn it about 5 times a week since the start of the year and I mostly bung it in the machine as I can't be bothered to handwash that often and it has been fine. I don't tumble dry it though as it dries on the airer overnight ready for the next day!

Awesome job! A really noticeable change - bet you feel great :) Your stats are pretty similar to mine - started 5/1/15 at 15 stone exactly, and now at 12 stone 13lb. I want to get to my uni weight of 11 stone 7lb by the summer and longer term 9 stone 7lb, but appreciate it will get slower.

Awesome - great job! I've lost 24lbs since 5 January too. Looking to get that up to 35lbs by 28 April when I go on holiday!

I have a Freya underwired sports bra (36J) and it is great for minimising bounce. Most people wear a bra that is the wrong size, with the most common problem being a band that is too big. The majority of the support should come from the band and not the shoulder straps. You should be able to slip 2 fingers just under the…

Feel free to add me - I'm 26 and got back on the MFP wagon from Jan this year. 5' 1" SW: 210lb CW: 186lb Medium term GW: 175 by 28 April Longer term GW: 133lb I'm on 1200 cal, work long days but try to work out 6 days a week.

Also jaffa cakkes are 49 cals each - a good 'biscuit' alternative
-
Also I slice and freeze banana - whizz it up in the nutribullet with a splash of almond milk for instant 'whippy' style ice cream (about 100cals a go for a small-medium banana)

I discovered Golden Wonder Ringos in both salt and vinegar and cheese and onion flavour. They are 67 cals per bag so a lot better than most crisps. I also like cheese strings at around 60 cals each. Fruit wise I go for mini (the childrens') clementines or blueberries. Sometimes I have baby plum tomatoes or cucumber sticks…

Anyway, stick at it - you can do this  so rewarding to tick the workouts off and see your progress

I struggled with week 5 too - I ended up doing it twice, with the second time at 0.5kmph slower than my original pace. I'm now on week 7 day 3 tomorrow though! So excited about finishing the programme. I'm going to go through it again after but replacing walking intervals with my current slow jog and the run intervals with…

I'm 5 foot 1 inch and on a 1200 cal plan since Jan. I am exercising 5-6 times a week with a minimum burn of around 350 cal per session (sometimes more). I don't aim to eat back my exercise cals necessarily, but I don't stress if I am around 100 cals over my 1200 goal. Going pretty well so far, lost 23.5lbs since 5 January…

I started at 210lbs in January, now at 186.5 and long term want to get to around 133, so a loss of just under 80lbs. My short term goal is to get to 175lb by 28 April for a holiday. Good luck everyone - we can do this :)

Just about to move onto Week 7 Day 1 this evening. A bit daunted by a full 20 minute run! I started early January and had to repeat week 4 a couple of times before moving my speed down from 8kmph to 7.5kmph. Once I get through the programme I am planning to repeat to build up speed by using 7.5kmph in the "walking"…

I'm 5'1" and started at 210lbs on 5 January this year. Currently down to 187lb with a medium term goal of 175lbs by a holiday at the end of April and a longer term goal of 133lbs although will adjust that goal as I get closer.

It's a diet pill that claims to suppress appetite and increase mood. Shouldn't be dangerous in themselves - they are sold at health food stores everywhere.

Way to go! You look amazing! Very inspirational

Virtual gastric band is a good app - it's about £5 in the app store. Helped me be more mindful about eating.

I work 8am-6pm most days, hour's commute home, in at 7pm, eat between 730-8pm including carbs. Have lost 21lbs this year. The time of day you eat has no bearing on whether or not you will lose weight. It's all about the calorie deficit.
