I changed it twice so far. Started off with the MFP recommended calorie goal and upped it twice as I believe it was too low. Learning more and more along the way :)

Absolutely fantastic results! You look amazing. Congratulations on this amazing transformation!

I have lower back pain and sciatica problems and using pillows (yes, I have two stuffed in one cover to make it really thick) between my legs is the only way to make it through the night. I started doing this years and years ago after physical therapy.

I don't think it is bad at all. I drank it instead of having a sweet snack. And now since I know that agave works, I may have it again.
-
I have the unsweetened kind and did not like it. I then decided to add some agave syrup and it tasted great! I may just stick with that since agave is better than regular sugar. It was 105 cal total. Not sure how much cal the sweetened kind has.

I noticed it on my thighs the first. Don't think I've lost much (at least not visible) on my arms. Other than that I think I lost some everywhere plus my left boob is suddenly smaller and I do hope the other one is going to catch up soon!

HRM is correct.

LOL especially when you say "hold on honey, let me press the "start" button"

And here I thought it was another of those "attacks" on Germans by claiming, all Germans drink warm beer :grumble: Must have missed the other thread completely - :ohwell:

Hah! I must be using the British terminology over here (US) - lol - that's why people looked at me funny when I was talking about side stitches; Anyway, I used to have problems with those and tried all kind of things. What worked for me was breathing in two steps and breathing out three. This way, you never start breathing…

I used my HRM last night for the first work-out and burned 196 calories but I added a plank for one minute. It all depends on your weight and fitness level, so the burn rate would be different for everyone. It was a great burn, though. No pictures as I just started. Here is a link to a MFP post with pictures:…

Good luck! You can do it. I found MFP do be very helpful. It keeps me on track and accountable to what I eat. I also think twice about eating something if I have to log it and see how many calories it contains. I think of food now in terms of how long I have to walk to offset the calories :) Besides MFP, the best things…

I think I will continue using it to maintain. Only once I am completely confident that I'll be able to eat healthy and maintain my weight I will decide if I keep using it.

Congratulations! You are looking great!

There are a few people who I would love to meet and who have inspired me very much. If I had the money I'd go buy tickets to a meet and greet for a fundraiser but unfortunately it's a little more than I want to spend right now, although it is for a fantastic cause :) I would also like to meet Bill Clinton.

Wow! You look absolutely fantastic! Congratulations on your hard work.

Eating vegan since January but was eating ovo/lacto vegetarian before. Welcome and good luck!

Fiber is the best thing ever when it comes to weight loss! I usually triple what MFP suggests.

The only thing that works for me is eating balanced. For me that means that I make sure to hit all of my food groups through out the day. I also plan snacks for between breakfast, lunch, and dinner plus I drink a lot of water and tea (green tea pomegranate). Planning plus balance are the key factors that keep me from…

I would think running on the treadmill is harder, just like everyone else on here. I am now only using the treadmill and haven't been running outside in years, mostly as I run when my child sleeps and I couldn't leave her home alone to do the outside running. I miss the outside but not the heat and humidity that I have to…

My husband dreams of doing it one day. I hope he can! I doubt I would be able to ever do it but love the idea of it :)

I found the 0% milk in Germany along with the other homogenized milks. Never found it in the cooling sections along with other fresh milk. I wonder if it is hard to change from cow's milk to milk alternatives because I did not like the almond milk but did love the chocolate soy milk. I am think now that I haven't been…

bumping, so I'll find it again. I've got some pictures on my camera but have't put them on the computer yet.

Why do people always think they have to eat soy products if they become Vegan or Vegetarian? It's a general misconception that all Vegans live on tofu. I hardly ever eat it. As with any diet, you need to eat balanced to be healthy. If replacing (not saying you did that but I can see people do that) one unhealthy amount of…

Mine is open as well. I net around or just a little below 1200 cal.

My guess would be that you were hungry and didn't eat anything before you left the house. I fall off the wagon when I stop planning out my day with healthy food. There isn't a time when I am hungry or feel the need to buy some unhealthy food. Pick out healthy breakfast (since you seem to need breakfast in the morning),…

Holy Cow! What a transformation! Fantastic job and congratulations!

When I got my HRM I was surprised as to how much more calories burnt it showed compared to MFP. I thought that my treadmill was already too generous as it was higher than MFP but the HRM is almost 1.8 times more, so I have definitely not eaten enough back either.

That's me :embarassed: ... not at work though but I do lose my temper even more at home, especially if something interferes with my work-out plans or meal planing.
