I fell off the wagon, big time! At least with food. I still exercised. But let's just say, it's dangerous to keep frosting.in your fridge and cake in your cupboards! Oy vey....

So confession time again, After working my usual 12hr shift 2 days in a row, I was exhausted. Not only had I been way under my calorie goal all week, but I'd felt pretty good about passing up all the fast food places I drive by all night. Not to mention, no energy drinks or milk heavy coffee. Just a few Nuun tabs and LOTS…

Oh man, yesterday I threw a baby shower for my best friend and totally fell off the wagon just a little food wise! I had two and a half mini cupcakes and a couple slices of raspberry pudding bread... But I also had a ton of vegetables some fresh fruit. I drive for a living so sitting in my car for 12 hours it's kind of…

So I got stuck in YouTube for a few hours tonight and stumbled across a bunch of vegan/vegetarian recipes - many with the title easy/and routine in them. I personally am not either, but was for 8 years and have to give props to those who eat right vs. eat lots of carbs and processed foods... I was an adolescent without the…

I'm so excited! This group rocks. So far in the past 13 days I've lost 2.9lbs, increased my exercise/steps per day/ and water intake, and remained accountable even through a minor depression pms day... Here's to an amazing April my friends! Let's own it B)

So I have a question for all of you, when you start getting really into your new life styles and are confronted with choices that are unhealthy (like driving around and getting hungry or being at a party when there's no great food options) staring Temptations right in the face... What kind of things do you do to help you…

Something that's really helped me with soda is buying the LeCroix fizzy water. I keep it in my car and in my fridge at all times. And if I'm really craving extra flavor I use squirt of Mio or the other no cal/low cal/ low sugar substitutes. I leave one of those in my car too! It really helps me get past my initial craving…

Hey, I'm just starting the Beachbody PiYo program at home! Wanna be accountability buddies for checking in? We could set days and times we intend on doing them?! Just an idea

Yeah, the sweets are hard to kick! I feel like it's every where and even when I'm good for a while, mother nature kicks in and the next thing I know, I'm making a b-line for the plaid pantry on the way home for a 3 musketeers and an almond snickers!! It's not even the calories that bug me as much as the lack of quality. If…

Grill or bake your veggies for extra flavor! Just a little bit of olive oil (or coconut if you don't mind the taste), crush or mince some garlic in a bowl, throw some mushrooms, asparagus, zucchini, and broccoli in there and stir adding a little salt (hymilaya pink is my fav) and pepper, and fresh or dried herbs of you'D…

My April goal is to #1, stay on top of coming here, logging my food honestly, and keeping up on checking in with the group. My second goal is to work out 2 days at home and 2 days at school - leaving the excuses out when it comes to attending my class!

Hi, my name is Abeni and I'm a 32 year old single mother and have reached my all-time heaviest weight of 222! I've steadily gained 10 pounds each year over the past six years and I'm sick of the up and down, on and off, lack of motivation that I've had for at least 4 of those years trying to do it mostly by myself. It…

Mental attitude and perseverance is the first step. I'm on a 1350 a day goal with 2lbs a week. First off I cut out all Wheat (most Gluten) and Dairy. I eat lots of beans (even for breakfast) because they're filling and relatively low cal when cooked without meat. (A little oil, chopped onions, minced garlic and seasonings…
