It is both high and low intensity...your instructor should be doing both fast paced intense dance moves and slower less intense dance moves within that hour...think of it as increasing your heart rate, then slowing it down, increase it, then decrease it, back and forth! Just think of it as this, even if you modify the squats and jumps to protect your knees, you are still moving and exercising! I think that is the mentality of Zumba too, doesn't matter how you look while doing, just move! Best to you! M

I say log what you ate in your food diary, no matter how painful...the next time you think about splurging go back to that day and read how many calories that splurge cost you!!!

I would say work on getting more muscle definition! Swimming is great, lift more weights...you wont bulk up as much as you will be more sculpted...keep yoga up as a de-stressor and for flexibility! At your height you are near a perfect weight! Don't only rely on the scale!!!
