Not sure why people have a problem with the word tone when it is a synonym for lean. If she said I really want to lean out would have a problem with it? That being said your advice is excellent.

Personally I would drop your calorie total. If you BMR is 1500 and you are eating 2300 you would have to be burning like 1300 calories a day to lose a pound a weak. Probably with all your exercise you are getting to your maintenance level.

Why don't you just do insanity? Cardio with body weight exercises everything is laid out for you. I am personally not a fan of Beach Body dvd programs but a lot of people swear by them.

This not bad advice at all. You engage the largest muscles in your body when doing squats and burn more calories than working something like biceps. If you would eat in a deficit there is no way you would put on size.

Hard to say really without seeing your diary. However I wouldn't worry about the sugar from fruit and unless 100% of your calories come from protein I wouldn't worry about it.

Whenever you lose weight you lose a combination of lean body mass and fat. So by adding resistance training you can minimize the loss of muscle.

Carbs barely have an effect on your ANS... unless you eat a ton of them. In this case carbs eaten before exercise will be converted to energy for the workout.

Nothing really bro while your cutting. When I got to my goal weight I had a fair amount of loose skin so I bulked adding about 20 pounds and then cut back down and I did it three times over a year and my skin has firmed up nicely.

The info you posted in this article is kind of out of date. A lot of good points but a lot of things that are now considered not to have a dramatic impact on reducing body fat.

To me this makes absolutely no sense. I am not sure why you would want do decrease your muscle mass. If you are in caloric deficit you will proportionately decreases your body mass no mater how heavy you lift without compromising body composition.

This is totally misleading. The side effects listed above are at extremely high doses. Anything at excesses can be toxic even water. There is less than a 10th of an once of aspartame in the average diet soda, I don't think having from time to time will hurt anyone.

BMR is just the calories required to provide vital organ function without going into a deficit. Any movements beyond that cause you to burn calories.

I would drop SLDL its a more advanced lift and unless you know what your doing you have a high risk of injuring your self. I would also add in some core work.
