Why not just count your whole workout? After you finish a set your heart rate is still elevated and during your rest period I am assuming your waiting for your heart rate to come down so it is basically the same concept as HIIT. If your not hungry than why eat? Being a few calories over or under won't make or break your diet if it happens once in awhile. But if your dead set in getting extra calories why not have a protein shake or smoothie.

You can't build muscle if you are cutting weight but if you want to stay the same weight but lose body fat just eat your maintenance calories and lift heavy...worked for me.

How did you gain 1.5 lbs... obviously something is wrong with your diet. Maybe you should take the four weeks you have until you don't have wear the boot anymore and really focus on fixing your diet. Having a proper diet is more important than exercise.

I have pretty bad jumpers knee from years of playing basketball and I do the stair master five days a week and have had no problems. You probably do more damage to your knees while running than you would on a stair master.

Agree with his post... I only do 10 minutes of cardio as a warm up and cool down for my heart and l have lost 250 lbs.
