if you are taking metformin you really dont need to eat a pcos type diet... however some have gotten theres under control and do not take meds and that would be highly advised to avoid Diabetes.

without metformin until you get to the weight that is healthy for you.. your runnign a risk getting diabetes. sorry to say.

okay the irony is... I got married MAY 7th too!! lol... AND... loosing weight before trying for a baby too!! :) 20 lbs would be awesome but I started my goal at 11 cus I suck at goals... I want to get in shape first before ttc though.

depends on your diet.. most americans dont eat enough fruits and vegetables. If you feel like you are then no, you dont need them.

I try to stress eat baby carrots, cucumbers broccoli with ranch.

no.. but kidney stones... was told to limit alot of meat.. so I am semi vegetarian now.. no sweet breads and things with purines** I eat a fully vegetarian meal evvery other night now and feel much better!! drink lots of water and add a slice of lemon to help the kidneys with cleaning.

imo you have gained muscle... so..for me that is normal in the beggining of working out alot. Either that or your not drinking enough and your body is retaining the water. Y

I guess I was more freaked out because its a light period. most likely from being more active. Do you require more calories during? Im just soo hungry and am trying to avoid going over calories.

hrmmm since we are talking about periods I have a question... Ladies, do you not lose on your period? I hanvt lost anything this week, do you up your calories? I have been much more hungry too.. which obviously could explain lack of weight lose even though Im eating close to the guidline.

two other nidbits, I make my own homeade spaghetti sauce tastes better and healthier then in a can. And STAY away from white bread!! I buy the nice thick wheat bread.. I like oroweat because it has low cals for being a hearty wheat bread.

my own idea of clean eating is diffrent then others Im sure. Things I have done, cut out pork 95%.. I cant cut the pepperoni :/ pork is the dirtiest meat. Pigs dont have sweat glands so much of the toxins remain in there bodies. I cut out all frozen prepared foods. I tried them and there so high in sodium they bloat you up…

If you havnt already.. try eliminating nitrates (hotdogs, lunchmeat) also any substitue sugars such as aspartame are known to trigger them.
