Hello to everyone....

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

So happy to have found this site! I hope to gain & exchange ideas, ways and techniques to enhance my lifestyle!
At 50 i began a new life! One i never thought would be but is.... I am on a personal crusade to be the best for me....

I have seen Dr Chang in Caifornia, a research PCOS reproductive endo....
The best thing my body did was say i was a Diabetic for a week... LOL! My MD put me on Glucophage XR, my miracle
pill! Even the side effects are all pluses for me... I'm not Diabetic, preborderline Diabetic, IR with Metabolic Syndrome is me...

2003 started my PCOS journey... Research continues on it... I find the best resource is the 1st hand experiences of others,
which i find online...

I am married to a bodybuilder's diet... A high protein, complex & low carb diet... Yes i cheat 1 meal a week... I seek their
insight, eating ways and more... I did only one thing wrong on my created diet, i ate a banana 1st thing daily... I called it a starvation diet although i was never hungry...

My plan is to thin down to thew size i love... Then maintain and start toning up... After i look great then maintain... I sure will know my body when that is all done, lol...
- Have been complimented on my facial looks by a retired biochemist(?).... She said keep doing what i was...
- I have held my early 20's looks up to 2 yrs ago when the aggravation and BS kicked in from my exhubby... Now i look like in my 30's... I'm shedding the stress and BS!

Here i am....

I have been diagnosed for about 5 years. It's hard, but it is getting so much easier.

I was diagnosed at a young age... apparently I had a bad case. I didnt start mensese until age 16 and then until I got medicated only had one every 9 months.. I rencently went off b/c so well have to see what happens. I take 1500 a day metformin/glucophage. I love this site! I lost 30 lbs on my own without it maintained 135 for a few yrs very very carefuly..but then gained 10 lbs because I tooo have fibromylgia from a car accident a few yrs back and it makes me very tired.
