Thanks! I had actually tried EndoMondo and didn't like how I couldn't get it to stop. It would not close and kept running on my notification bar. I had to uninstall to get it to stop. I HAD to have been doing something wrong but my battery was almost drained when I started using it and it was going down faster with it…

Are you at least eating your dailys? As long as you do that you should be ok. Just keep in mind working out makes your body need more fuel, however if you don't eat all your exercise cals everyday, it's not going to hurt you. You really do have to eat to lose though, just make sure you are hitting your daily goal no matter…

I am in the process of trying to get myself tested for a wheat/gluten allergy and have been trying different gluten free things in the meantime. My husband found pasta made by SamMills at Kroger that is a corn pasta. It was pretty good. We also found that Trader Joe's makes their own line of corn pastas and those are good…

Those look yummy.....I, too, may have to try and see if I can make these Gluten Free.

I think if you find something that works for you then do that. It really won't matter if you follow the exact routine TF puts forth. What IS important is that you "keep pushing play". Keep working out and you'll get results. You might be on to something and you may need to add some resistance back into your routine. You…

Yes. Turbo JAM would be less intense....however Turbo FIRE would be a better fit. It follows HIIT style of working out...same as Insanity.

Shaun T has actually come out with a follow up to Insanity and it's called Insanity: The Asylum. I want it soooooo bad. I already have Insanity and love it (even though I can't really do it right now....health issues) and would love to have the follow up.…

Personally, I would eat during the day with in reason and chalk it up to a cheat day. Your birthday is one day a year......one day won't hurt your progress. Just be smart about it and have fun. Happy Birthday! BTW, mine is on Mon (1/9)

That sounds yummy! Although I would have to adapt it to make sure there's no wheat in it.....thinking I'm developing a wheat/gluten allergy. :/

Yes. You need to eat AT LEAST what MFP tells you is your daily goal (before exercise). This is a number that has a deficit figured into it already. So you will lose eating that number. Eating the exercise cals back is a debate on here and you need to figure that out for yourself and your body. Some people HAVE to eat all…

I'll have to check those out.....thanks for sharing.....

That sounds yummy.....thanks for posting!

That sounds YUMMO! Thanks for posting!

Thanks for posting this OP and for all the sites everyone is giving.....I'll have to check all of them out.

I know what I eat is important......working on that (which is why I'm back to tracking.....to bring it back into the forefront of my mind). I am beginning to think, though, that I may have either gastrointestinal issues or possible food allergies starting to rear their ugly heads. So that isn't helping much. Right now, I'm…

First, please take off the caps.....it means you're yelling (or stressing a single word) and we don't need yelling. Secondly, if you are working out, your body usually NEEDS those extra calories. MFP already has a deficit figured in your goal. So if you burn more calories the deficit would be bigger and it would be…

The only thing I can think of to tell you is to just tell/make yourself do it. You have to put it in your mind that you are NOT going to stop this time. You have to REALLY WANT to do it or you will find some excuse or another to stop it. I would LOVE to get back to Insanity but my disorder wears me out so bad I'm scared of…

Maybe I should clarify that I am experiencing muscle fatigue/aches & pains due to my immune system attacking them and attempting to break them down. It's my belief that his intentions are to take some of the soreness & pain away so that I am able to function more. I'm 33 years old and can barely hold a pasta pot that is…

Ahhhh...the frozen section....good to know. Thanks!

I will admit I didn't read all of the posts but I don't think you should worry about diabetes....yet. You would have to be drinking CONSTANTLY as well as going to the restroom often. My sister has been diabetic for 25 years and she had a very juicy apple in one hand and a glass of water in the other and could not get…

Where would you find the Ezekiel bread?

Thank you for posting this....I'm going to be in the same boat as you....it'll give me something to do at night when my insomnia keeps me up.

That does sound yummy! I would have to leave out the onion, though.....they tend to trigger my reactive airway (I know, it's weird....).

Most HRMs are not meant to be worn all day. With the exception with the Body Bugg (I think). If you're THAT serious about finding out how much you burn during the day....see your doctor about getting some tests done to find that out.

My 9 year old is in Cross Country and they go around the track once (about a quarter of a mile) in a jog before they begin to stretch. This warms the muscles up first and will give you the most out of your stretching. That being said, (I'm no expert) I think if you just lightly jogged for about 5 minutes then stop to…

I didn't read all 6 pages so if this is a duplicate of what someone else said......sorry. That being said, there are some of us (like myself), that those kinds of things ARE our exercise. I have an auto-immune disorder that affects my muscles. It's called Dermatomyositis and it is an inflammatory muscle degenerative…

The thing I like about MIO, even with the "artificiality" of it, is that for me it doesn't take much to give the water some flavor. When I use it it is just barely colored. For instance, when I use the Strawberry Watermelon flavor, my water is pink, not red. When I do that, I easily get in the recommended amount of water…

Interesting.....may have to try them. Thanks for posting!

You will still burn fat at the higher HR. If you stay in that "fat burning" range you will have to work out longer to get the same results at higher HR shorter time.....in other words, you might have to work out an hour in that range to get the same benefits as a half hour at the higher HR. In the long run, over time, you…

Does your strap come completely off the electrodes? I have the F6 and my elastic strap will detach completely from the electrode part. That part (the elastic strap) I might wash weekly (if I was able to work out much right now). But the electrode part I would just wipe down after each workout and you should be fine. ETA:…
