I agree 100%. Last month I started concentrating more BF loss than weight loss. Net results were a 2 pound weight loss, but a 2.5% loss in BF (36.8% to 34.3%) and a loss of 2.25" in the waist alone. Keep it up!

Dayum!! Great work

In my experience, DOMS is going to happen no matter what when you first start lifting or begin lifting after a long break. However, your body adjusts to it over time and mitigates the causes of DOMs as the movements become more regular to your routine. I usually intake glutamine after weights workouts as part of my…

See, this is what I find silly. What does it matter to you their reasons? If you find out someone is Jewish, do you ask them why they are Jewish? And after they answer, do you say "I could never be Jewish, I love Jesus too much". Or what about music, do you ask them why they like classical? And after they answer, do you…

I don't really restrict any of the foods I like, I just control the portions to fit my daily macros. So I guess I don't really cheat. For me, the concept of cheat is an excuse to overeat, which I have to be careful about because I have a lifetime overeating problem. But as far as foods I love to overeat on? Pizza

Does it matter really? With anything, people are going to be able to put pros and cons on just about any way of eating. And people will come up with some way to 'debunk' anything different than what they advocate. Like some other have said, you've got to do what works for you. I get a kick out of people who try to say…

I'm a vegan, but I do not consider it a fad. I have been vegan for 12 years though, so maybe I am somehow missing out on the fad part.

Doesn't bother me. I don't smoke, but I also like the smell of pipe tobacco

Most days it's oatmeal with chia seeds, flax seed meal, peanut butter, and a bit of stevia. It is my go to breakfast. Some days though I will eat leftovers or something else that strikes my fancy.

It does not matter if you are vegetarian or not, you will not build muscle on 1200 calories a day.

Personally, I prefer plant fusion. It's good too.

I live in Fort Worth

Personally when I want to make a shake for meal replacement, I will take a cup of almond milk, 1 scoop of plant fusion chocolate, a banana, and a TBS of peanut butter and blend it all with some ice. If in the morning, I will add my daily chia seeds and flax seed meal

I am a lifelong overeater. It's not comical. Food addiction is tougher than most addictions as you can live without booze, drugs, gambling, etc. But not without food. Moderation can be hard. I have to track my food daily forever to keep from relapsing. However, I do not participate in overeaters anonymous as I disagree…

Too low IMHO. I started at 310 and have been eating 2500 per day, working out 5 days a week at MMA/Jiu Jitsu and things are melting away. Go too low and you risk it being counter-productive. Edit: Sorry, I reread. If you are not exercising much, 200 should be fine for you. Good luck! :)

Are there any other areas of your budget that you feel you might be able to cut back to compensate? Also, you can follow what's on sale and look for items that fit your dietary desires that are on sale. Do you live in a metro area? Often stores that cater to certain ethnic groups (asian or latin supermarkets) will have…

There are some places here in DFW that actually have vegan soft serve machines. One place used to have a Tofutti soft serve machine with Chocolate and Peanut Butter. OMFG, heaven

Unless you are lifting heavy that should be fine....but I'm just one guy. Most people will suggest you bump it up (probably way too much), at most I'd make it 30% of you calories

How about this? If you really only have $7 to get you through until then, friend me and then send me a message with your Paypal info if you have it. I'll throw $20 your way.

Fantastic, keep up the good work!

I prefer PlantFusion, it's not too sweet and mixes easily.

Take up Jiu Jitsu....I promise you will not get bored :)

Sorry, but this is totally false

Exactly. This thread will mostly turn into a troll feed lot

Maybe just skip them over? Not too hard.

No, many vegans take no "supplements" for protein. The food we eat provides us with plenty. I'm sure vegans who are working to maximize muscle hypertrophy would, just like many non-vegans trying to do so.

Perfect example of how people get a horribly incorrect view on a topic based on one persons really bad anecdote

There are plenty of them actually. One in particular I know very well, and she eats mostly only fruit. She is vibrant, beautiful, and full of energy. Just because it is counter-intuitive to the lifestyle you have chosen doesn't mean it is not possible.
