Thanks all! I appreciate the support and encouragement. It is amazing what death can do to the people who survive despite knowing that they would all be kickin my butt for not making my health a priority. One day at a time, and yes even one minute of time - I can do this....again!

I use it to make a simplified Jack Straw hot dish. VERY EASY and yummy and my kid loves it Can of chicken Can of chicken a la king can of corn - drained shoe string potatoes - about a cup or so (these are the chips - not really potatoes) Heat everything minus the shoe string potatoes in a pan until hot. Once hot, add the…

Thanks. I did this. My TDEE is 2519. I have read on the forums that you should eat 20% less calories than your TDEE. Is this correct? If so, then I would be eating 2015 calories a day. Seems WAY too high as I currently eating just under 1600. Thoughts on this one? Oh and if it helps I did my BMR which is 1832 - or maybe I…

I like vanilla soy milk - light. (Silk). It has less sugar than skim milk and it also keeps longer in the fridge then regular milk. I also like the Silk Chocolate light - soy milk. Very tasty.

You can do this!! I have walked two 5K's and an 8K and am now doing Couch to 5K to run one. I would say just get out an walk on a regular basis and you will be fine. Have fun and celebrate your accomplishment. It is a BIG deal :-) Congrats

I am sitting in my office and my legs are hurting. I played a volleyball match last night (and I was a beast of course) and then finished week 5 of Couch to 5K. I am super proud of myself for sticking to it. It is amazing when you think you can't do something and while you are doing it you just keep saying - I CAN DO THIS.…

I was a hockey player when girls couldnt play hockey so I was born to early. I played at the parks with all the boys but my dad (who was the boys high school coach) would not let me play organized hockey. I enjoyed watching my brother play in high school. He was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers back when Gretzsky was there.…

He hasnt changed - he is just nice now but remember you saw his true self and that is who he is. RUN AWAY and do it quickly. You are sticking around because it is comfortable - but ask…

I delete people if they go missing for over a week or if they are not active on MFP. I figure we are all here for the same reason and if my "friends" arent supportive, then they dont need to be my friend so they get deleted
