WHAT are you eating? I can't see your diary but thats a LOT of carbs...

I do a 35/35/30 split of protein/fat/carbs. Healthy fats are good for you. Also, I have read that you should have 1 g of protein per pound of lean body mass. Not sure on your stats, but I would stick with that. I do have a protein shake every day but I only use one scoop. And I think they are delicious :)

well, apparently I'm a weirdo and doing it wrong. I weigh and measure every Sunday and only record losses. I don't feel like this is cheating as I fluctuate throughout the week. I weigh myself every day and I go up and down throughout the week.
-
my stats are almost the same as yours, except that I weigh a little less. I eat 1600 cals and I lose there. You should be fine somewhere between 1600-1700. As for increasing, start going up by 100 cals a week until you get to 1900

I eat at my TDEE-25% and I eat that whether or not I exercise. It works for me and I haven't stalled my loss and I'm losing about a pound a week. It all depends on your body though, and what works for you. Good luck!

nice! I know the difference between their, there, and they're. Also, I make super awesomely delicious scrambled eggs

I vote peanut butter and a glass of wine. It doesn't matter that it is 9, your body doesn't keep time like that.

just wanted to update in case anyone checks this...I got my blood work results today and I have a B12 and vitamin D deficiency. Both are easily supplemented, so we will see how that goes. No thyroid problems, so that's good :) thanks again to everyone for their responses, I really appreciate it!

maybe I just psyched myself out :blushing:

my TDEE-20% is 1735. I tried that for a bit and didn't lose anything. In the beginning I was at 1600 and lost, and now that I'm back at 1600 I've lost again. So I think I've found my sweet spot, I just want to make sure I'm not doing any long-term damage by not eating back my exercise cals.

holy carbs Batman!! change your macro ratios to 40% carb, 30% fat, 30% protein and you should see a difference

my birthday is in 3 weeks and I'm going on a cruise!! I won't be anywhere near my goal weight but I'm hoping to be 10 lbs down from my SW. Happy Birthday!

this is great!! very accurate and helpful to know I'm right on track :)

I use a power plate 3x a week for 10 mins. I do a squat the whole time and bicep curls. I break a sweat doing it. No clue how many cals it burns, or if its really beneficial. I do like it though :)

salsa! its super yummy and very low cal :)

I've been doing Ab Ripper X from P90X every other day after I do my 30DS. Its killer. I can feel my abs getting tighter and stronger. But as long as I have the fat on top it won't matter. You have to get rid of the layer of fat before you can see the results of any ab workout

please please please get out of this relationship. it sounds like you already know what you need to do. my ex had some of the qualities you've described. in the beginning it was ok, after 4 years I finally moved across the state to break up with him. you will regret staying more than leaving, trust me. it doesn't sound…

are you doing squats in the gym on a rack with weights or just at home?

I will admit that I roll my eyes at people who go GF who don't have to. Because I have to. If you don't have a medical reason, don't do it. It makes those of us who don't have a choice look like we are jumping on a bandwagon.

its easy to eat healthy at Disney. Every single food place has a salad, some have 2. Also, they have grilled chicken at a lot of places. Yes, they have hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta, cakes, etc. But if you don't eat those for all your meals the whole time you will be fine. Have a burger one day if you want to. After all, you…

being gluten free for people with Celiac's or intolerances is the same type of "fad" as people with diabetes not eating sugar. Our bodies can't process the gluten and it makes us sick. I hate being GF. It hasn't helped me lose weight and I get awful cravings for cake and cupcakes and real bread and pasta. Trust me, I don't…

I asked this question before and got the same answers you have. make sure you get your calories and try to keep a macro balance. but if you have to choose one over the other eat your cals

I drink over 100 oz of water every day...usually around 130 oz. But if I don't drink close to that my pee is yellow and I get headaches. so I think each person is different in regards to their water needs

my BF and I measure every Sunday when we wake up. I suggest picking a day and measuring once a week. Its also best to measure first thing in the morning before you eat. And we only record losses so if I'm bloated I don't count it :)

bump! awesome list, thank you!!
