  • I add it to my coffee every time I have a cup. I recently gave up splenda and found that when I add cinnamon, I don't need any sweetener. :)
  • I like to sauté chicken breasts using Pam, and then top it with black beans, mozzarella cheese, salsa and diced avocado. It’s one of my favorites and it’s very healthy!
  • 10 min on the treadmill or elliptical is great for warming up.. but I wouldn't consider that any part of my cardio workout. One should always warm up first. When i do the weights.. i use very light weight and some stretching to warm up (esp when working shoulders). Then later when doing my cardio i do like 5 min of warmup…
  • Wow, I'm surprised that everyone said "lift before doing cardio"! I've always done my lifting after cardio. I believe in warming up my muscles before using them, I guess I'm scared of injury. That's always worked best for me, even if I just did 10 minutes on the treadmill before.
  • I add it into a protein shake. Here's how I like to make mine: 1 cup of skim milk (90 calories, 8 grams of protein) 1 scoop vanilla protein (110 calories, 20 grams of protein) 1 plain greek yogurt (80 calories, 15 grams of protein) 3 frozen strawberries (35 calories) It tastes great and is really filling! :)

  • I think that if you're consuming "lean" protein, it's OK to go over the recommended amount. Especially if you're exercising at least 4xs a week.
