  • Hi! Just saw the post, and count me in! I'm 56, have a pair of artificial hips, a few cracked vertebrae, fibromyalgia, and have 80 pounds to lose. This past Sunday, April 24, was the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon. I was especially struck by a child of 8 with cerebral palsy, using a walker, who completed the children's…
  • Nope, make that A $ $ E $... ARGH!
  • HAHA! It changed A$$e$ to *kitten*... too funny!
  • Okay, girlies - it's time to get our a$$e$ back in gear and get moving! Who's with me? TK and I are low-carbing it, and now we've got to add motivation and exercise. C'mon, ladies - let's see a whole lot less of each other the next time we see each other - which I hope is SOON!
  • Alternatives to chips? Try making some kale chips, zucchini chips, etc.! And good luck! Check out the website for the Hungry Girl for more ideas - she has some awesome alternatives to many, many things! Feel free to add me, if you wish! Cara

For five years I've been on antibiotics and steroids…

  • I think we all need to make it a point to eat out as few times as possible while on this journey. We will not only be able to control the calories better, but it will help us to save extra $$$ towards that pie-in-the-sky trip next year at this time! And if we DO have to eat out? Look up the nutrition values on their menus…

  • You've got this, girl! I have a hundred to lose, as well, and I'm here for you!
  • Please add me! I would like to be a Gryffindor!
  • Obviously what you're doing is working, considering your weight loss. I don't know that anyone else could eat what or how I eat and lose weight. However, I also think that most of us have read so many diet books, logged in to so many diet sites, and been a work in progress for the majority of our lives to the point where…
