  • Have you tried the zig-zag eating thing? Basically you eat your MFP recommended calories on days 1 & 2 and then on day 3 eat 20% more than your recommended calories, day 4 eat 10% less than your recommended calories, and then go back to your recommended calories on days 5 through 7 and repeat if needed. This is suppose to…
  • What an accomplishment! You are truly an inspiration to others. Congratulations and best of luck reaching your ultimate goal.
  • I know for me I started with a gentle yoga class about 5 months ago once a week and it really helped me stretch and I'm actually 1/2" taller! Now I'm addicted and take a regular yoga class twice a week. It keeps me centered and forces me to stretch muscles that I never knew I even had :-) Be prepared to be sore afterwards…

  • I think the No Yolk Egg Noodles are quite tasty with a creamy sauce with lots of veggies and they have a fraction of the calories. But if tomato sauce and real pasta are a must then I go with the Barilla Plus Multigrain Pasta w/ Omega-3.
  • I started at the beginning of June and I'm at my halfway point. I am realizing that that the second half is going to be a lot tougher so I made a few mini-goals to keep motivated. Good luck to all of you!
  • Count me in! I'm shooting for another 10lbs by the end of the year and another 40+ in 2011. 10lbs may sound easy but I know it will be difficult with the holidays.
  • You go girl! Way to look on the bright side :)
  • Keep up the good work! You are an inspiration to all of us :)
  • I generally work-out 6-7 days per week for an hour or so - 3 days swimming, 2 days yoga, 1 day brisk walking, 1 day racquetball or tennis. I am also considering adding the 30-day shred to mix things up a bit. I have been going strong with this for 5 months and have seen amazing results.
  • I find that getting these kinds of compliments only makes me want to compliment others on their achievements. It also gives me motivation to get to my next goal. Congratulations! You have worked very hard to get here and you deserve every compliment that you get : )
  • Good luck! Log everything you eat and don't forget to move - it's good for the body AND the mind : )
  • Way to go! You are an inspiration to the rest of us. Aren't you amazed at how wonderful you feel?
  • I've lost 44 lbs so far - 35 on MFP in 4 months and feeling great
  • Awesome! 60lbs in 6 months is incredible!! Don't you love how much better you feel? Good luck with the rest of your journey.
  • Congratulations! I can't wait to hit the big 5-0!! Best of luck!!!
  • Yes, I have this same problem. I used to only shop at the "big girls stores" and therefore had limited options. Now, I get easily overwhelmed by the number of options I have...and the size game only makes things more confusing :( I'm trying not to let it bother me too much and remember that these are good problems to have.…
  • Gotta luv those touchdown shuffle moments : ) Keep up the good work!
  • I started pilates classes at my gym a few weeks ago. Pilates is like yoga but w/o any pausing. You won't burn as many calories as let's say cardio kickboxing or Zumba but it really does sculpt your muscles and you will definitely be sore for a few days afterwards.
  • Best of luck to you! This site is a wonderful tool that will help you live a longer, healthier, happier life. Tracking everything I eat and my exercise has helped me tremendously over the past several months. Welcome to MFP.
  • Wow! You look great!!!
  • My husband has been doing yoga now for about a year and was raving so much about it I decided to start taking classes about 12 weeks ago. He takes this crazy cardio yoga and it kicks his butt and he's in shape so I knew I needed to start out with something slower paced. I've been taking a gentle yoga class for awhile and I…
  • Wow!!! That's amazing. Good job and keep up the good work!

  • I can hug my husband even closer now and I don't consider shaving my legs cardio anymore ;o)
  • Awesome!!! Congratulations!!! I know exactly what you mean. I use bath sheets at my house so didn't notice this until this past weekend when I was visiting my parents. I used one of their standard bath towels and for the first time in like 10 years my body was completely covered by one of their towels. Not to mention that…
  • I know it seems unfair - losing weight is hard enough but losing weight when you have PCOS is even harder. I was diagnosed with PCOS about 10 years ago and steadily put on weight over the years (100lb+). I had all of the physical symptoms: hair loss, acne, dark patches, etc. but I also was depressed a lot and became…
  • I was diagnosed w/ PCOS over 10 yrs ago and gained a lot of weight over the years (100lbs+). I was able to get pregnant a few yrs ago w/ the help of modern medicine but I had a complicated pregnancy because of the PCOS and due to my weight (250lbs). My advice to you is to get yourself healthy - cardio workouts and a…
  • Wow! You are doing great!! Keep up the good work and congratulations!!!
