haven't read the article yet, i'm about to... but I used to eat back my exercise calories and while I was still losing it was SUPER slow. Since I have changed to not eating them back I've seen a lot of steady success. i dunno, might just be me but I found what works for me.

I'm aiming for somwhere in the middle like 8-10 reps. Heavy enough that it's hard but light enough to do at least 8.

^LOL!!! yes this is true. I knew someone who did that diet. She then proceeded to do a hundred other "diets".... don't know which one she's on now.

I dont know how to post pics, but you can look at my profile pics i have a before/after in there. I did not use a gym- i did that at home with workout videos, running and a calorie deficit. I JUST joined a gym, today was only day 2 for me.... reason being I don't have weights at home like the ones at the gym.

I have and it was more of a struggle throughout the whole workout to not get snot everywhere so I decided I shouldn't do that again.

I sort of just use those things as emergency type snacks or food. So in that case a few here and there isn't a big deal.

When a particular sweatshirt I used to wear often became snug all of a sudden... then I noticed that my closet started filling up with larges. I realized I needed to fix this before it got worse.

No, because the goal is to learn proportions, eventually you should be able to get a good idea of how much and what to eat on a regular basis. That being said, you eat a lot one day for a special occasion or whatever- go light the next.

phone in a arm band phone holder (because i also use it for music) and I shove my house key in it too. Or tie it on a string and wear it around my neck and tuck it under my shirt. at the gym- just in the locker.

yeah, i felt that way for a long long time. It wasn't until I finally hit my first goal and went shopping that i noticed the difference. When you start picking clothes you like instead of clothes picking you.... its a great feeling!

yes. me. people were commenting on my losses at about 5-10 lbs and then it stopped all together. Weird. but i know how you feel.

I've got that several times as well... i don't even LOOK sick. I'm tempted to just say yes and that's its highly contagious and fatal.
