  • Some weeks I will workout everyday, 7 days a week. Other times I am tired and sore and rest 1-2 days. Just listen to your body!
  • :drinker:
  • 2000. 5'5. Lots of success.
  • I can't either. It's a real problem cause I'm in the military and instead of closing one eye to focus to shoot my weapon, I have to lift my head up slightly to look at whatever I'm shooting at with both eyes. >___< That extra second has cost me many a target on a range. Less importantly, it makes it hard for me to focus my…
  • Here's one I wrote up... this will be fun  ‘Duck Duck Goose PT’ – Cadets will play a modified version of ‘Duck Duck Goose’. Cadets will form a circle. One cadet will walk around the circle, calling out ‘Duck Duck Goose’. While they are doing this, all the other cadets are in the plank position. When they need to…
  • oh man, I so would if I could. ;) Thank you everyone for your suggestions, by the way! You're helping a LOT! :)
  • We have access to the campus gym facility - so kettlebells, barbells, etc. However we don't have much time to go and grab them, and there are 12 people that need to be exercised in a short amount of time so usually we just stay outside and do body weight exercises.
  • Haha, I wish I could. It's the cadre who want it to be exciting and nonrepetitive, not the cadets. Thank you for the suggestion, I will also be checking that out!
  • Thank you for that link! I will definately use some of those! That's awesome!
  • "Off topic sickening headlines".... I'm not even going to touch that with a 10 foot pole. However, 1. This is the "chit-chat, fun, and games' board. You can talk about pretty much whatever you want here. While I do appreciate your opinion, if it's this discussion is so upsetting to you, no one's forcing you to look and…
  • I am all for it. I'm also gay, so I'm a bit biased. :flowerforyou: While I don't know if I would ever personally want to get married, I believe that it should be an option for everyone. Marriage is not something that is original to the Christian religion... just think of all the cultures in the world that practice…
  • Mine: Multiple unassisted pullups Kipping pullups Climb a rope (in pants and boots... I can do it in shorts and sneakers, just not the other way... weird, I know) Get under a 7 min mile (I'd be happy with 6:59 honestly, I just want to see that 6!) Complete a Tough Mudder race Max a PT test Swim a mile (possibly could do…
  • (sorry, I had to.)
  • Splenda and sugar free chocolate pudding mix. It tastes like chocolate mousse. I can't stand it plain, either. Tastes nasty to me.
  • But really... no one is eating poptarts thinking they're health food.... If I'm eating a poptart, believe me, I'm not worried about bugs or pork gelatin. Also, extra protein. :flowerforyou:
  • It doesn't have to be a dealbreaker, but for me it didn't work at all.... I was kind of in the same situation - my ex ate nothing but junk, never exercised, but was naturally thin and didn't put on any weight. All he wanted to do was watch movies, play video games (with junk food of course) or go out to eat. He didn't want…
  • My address is technically Cincinnati, OH, but I live just a few miles away from the bridge, and seeing as I go to school and work in KY I should honorarily live there ;)
  • Umm... excuse me? All men are real regardless of how they act and dress. All women are real regardless of how they dress and act. But thanks, I didn't realize I had to dress a certain way and let a man take care of me in order to be a real woman. :noway:
  • I'm growing mine out. But I've already had short hair for 4 years so it's a change for me. I say do what you want with your hair, regardless of weight! You have the face to pull off any haircut, believe me :)
  • I loved Rose Madder, 'Salem's Lot, and the Bachman Books.
  • I wasn't aware this bothered people. :/ Do you get mad when you see fit people at the beach? How about in movies or magazines? Smh.

  • I used to have a big problem with this but then I discovered I was lactose intolerant. I gave up dairy for for the most part and when I'm about to substantially indulge (ice cream anyone?) I'll take lactaid. Works wonders. lol.
  • I'm somewhere between 20 and 25 percent. (military method) I'm 5'5 and around 155 lbs. It really doesn't matter to me what it is honestly... just another pointless number to chase in my opinion.
  • Good point OP. I just wish people would stop treating other people's bodies as 'public property' to comment and put their views about. Celebrities, models, random people, anyone.... That body belongs to the person living in it - whatever goes on in there is between that person and perhaps their doctor. End of story.
  • More parents should put their kids on leashes because it is hilarious. My day is drastically improved whenever I see a child on a leash, I can't be the only one out here who feels this way. :drinker:
  • Be really careful with Panera.... make sure you do your research before you eat. I used to work there, and the food is of great quality but depending on which sandwich/soup you get you'll be spending 1000+ calories. Chipotle Red Lobster Applebees Chik Fil A Subway Ihop (has a really good 'healthy' menu) Cheesecake Factory…
  • To answer your other question - If you didn't eat anything, yes, your body would still burn all of your BMR calories so you would be at -1500 calories. Initially! the human body is very adaptable and your BMR will actually decrease to survive on less calories. Eating so little would be harmful to your health, your…

  • Okay, I will try. :) BMR = the calories your body burns lying in bed breathing, organs operating, etc. Let's say your BMR is 1500. TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) = the TOTAL calories your body burns doing everything it does in a day - sleeping, breathing, your organs working, walking, sitting, and exercising. Since…
