Short answer: chocolate.

^Agreed. Also, since when do people who KILL INNOCENT MOVIEGOERS actually respond to laws? I don't think gun laws are the answer.

I've been told that "as long as there's a handful, there's no need." I kind of giggled. But I also kind of agree.

Swiss spread on a Granny Smith apple......BEST thing ever.

I love my curves! Would love to be friends with you all. I see a lot of people (especially women) on MFP that are striving to be at the thinnest, lower end of their BMI range. I get where they're coming from, and to each his/her own :flowerforyou: , but I think I'm most attractive right in the middle of the range.

1. Hey, skinny friend/significant other, come share this with me!, 2. Small, small portions, 3. If you can't talk yourself out, say you're eating less "so that you'll have more to save for later," 4. I just ate ______! It was SO filling, I don't think I could squeeze this in! There's still no good way OP, totally agree…

Short answer: YES! Your stomach will shrink and you'll get used to eating less. And you'll get used to making healthier choices, like drinking more water and choosing cleaner, more filling foods, that will keep you feeling satisfied and great (hopefully/most of the time). Of course it's not always easy, and not every day…

Tea or coffee (caffeinated) will help fill you up or make you feel more full. Veggies are good advice too. But I agree that you shouldn't feel bad about going over every once in awhile. It sounds like you have quite a night in front of you, and you could have something awesome for ~300 calories, just about 150 over your…

Thanks for the responses guys! I added you both. Excited to be friends :)

I'm with you Yanicka.

This isn't going to be what you want to hear, but you can't make your teenager lose weight. People have given great steps for encouraging her to lose, but ultimately at her age she controls what she puts into her body, and what energy she exerts. I would suggest leading by example, as you've been doing. Also, just don't…

You carry your weight really well! :) lucky haha. Must be all the training you're doing.

Green peppers green peppers green peppers! :))))

Both of my parents are mentally ill. Bipolar/OCD/narcissism/Borderline. I stepped away from my mother, my father abandoned his family when I was young. The limiting of the time is key in regards to my mother, because she's very controlling and she thinks she's entirely rational. Everyone feel free to add me, I understand…

If the conversation starts with you looking anywhere but my face...creepy.

Glad to hear everyone loved them! They looked tasty. Horrible luck to get a rude Paleo rant when you were just trying to share some Birthday joy...happy late birthday to them though!

Girlfriend. As a thick (" ") girl myself, let me tell you something completely objectively: there are men out there who would wait in line to jump you, who would love your curves because they think curves are sexy! You are unlucky to be with someone who pressures you to change for the wrong reasons - HIS reasons, HIS…

My family is from the Midwest and there it is very common not to think of veggies as actual food, because "you can't make the main dish of a meal out of them." Of course, from a Midwestern perspective, a real meal means meat and potatoes. And corn, when in season.

Funny story. Day I was married, this happened to me. "Hey girl!" some loud obnoxious guy yelled out of his vehicle. Without skipping a beat, my response was a shrill, high-pitched: "I'M MARRIED." PRICELESS MEMORY! I was never happier to scold some stupid punk. And I did not feel flattered. I think it really is hard to yell…

I am afraid to loosen my reins because I did it before and I don't want to let myself down again! Let's stay committed together, haha. 4.5 months is nothing to sneeze at!

Added you :) I phased in my healthier choices with some of my unhealthier ones (pizza: 2nd love of my life. After my husband! I exaggerate, but still :D ). I know you've probably heard it a thousand times, but "dieting" is all about sustainability - any changes you make should be lifestyle changes. Don't want to eat fruits…

It just astonishes me how many people feel the need to put other people down on this site! C'mon. Most of us were the fat kid. Don't pick on the slightly fatter 'kid' who's here making an effort. I especially _love_ those people who like to tell others that they'll "never lose weight" because of X, Y, and Z. Let s/he who…

Your husband sounds like my husband, but mine is a buck forty and 5'8. Of course he still eats whole pepperoni pizzas. I've found that this makes keeping a diet an interesting endeavor :) I am getting back on the wagon after almost a year of falling off. And I'm doing better than ever! If you're here for me I'm here for…

Okay, that was _incredible_. Snaps to you! Meanwhile, my unused 30DS DVD is burning a hole in its case...your results are really making me want to give this a go.

Whoops. Sorry, I should have put this in "recipes." Sorry all, I'm new!

I'm now 5 days back on track from a few months of slacking. Previously, I lost ~45 lbs on MFP with months of dedication and hard work. A few random observations about how I get through the harder days. 1. Usually, my inspiration for losing weight (being a single-digit jean size, being able to run more easily) keeps me…

I do about 1500 calories a day with my exercise. Trust me, it feels strange at first [coming from the "but if I CAN eat less, I should" mentality] but you should give it a chance because you will see results. I've lost 43 lbs doing this with 27 more to go until I reach my goal. Eating enough works!

19 year old college sophomore trying again too! Friended you guys.
