Crunchy Carb Snack for Hummus/light cheese?

I never liked potato chips much, but I LOVE crackers. I love Club and Ritz and Saltines, and I love crunchy stuff with cheese and hummus. What are some ideas for low-cal replacement snacks for dipping in hummus or snacking with some Laughing Cow cheese? I know veggies would be optimal, but sometimes you just need a small carb snack! :)

DYI or store-bought, let me know your suggestions!

I like pita chips...thats about it as far as what I'd consider relatively "healthy"...

I hate the whole veggies and hummus thing. Veggies are NOT a good replacement for a chip. They aren't the same taste or texture.

I like flax seed crackers. I eat them with egg salad, hummus, cheese, anything.

The recipe can be found here: http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/od/snacks/r/flaxcrackers.htm

A truly acquired taste!!! AND costly. For those with Gluten allergies or sensitivities maybe a necessity, but I wouldn't eat them unless I had to.

I really like the Special K cracker chips. You'd probably have to spoon the hummus onto them so they don't break, but super-tasty.

That would be my suggestion if you don't like chips. Otherwise I love Popchips!

hummus itself is already full of good carbs...so i would truly stick with *oh no!* low sugar veggies. those homemade cheese "crackers" sound awesome too!

I slice up a pita and bake it to make pita chips. That's great with hummus, cheese, or guacamole!

They're veggies, but still... I have three words for you: SUGAR SNAP PEAS. They are awesome with hummus. This coming from a woman who loves tons of wheat in almost all forms.
