well done!! you look amazing!

5'8 and 10lb loss.

I find the gym is. Because: 1. I pay for a lot for my membership, which encourages me to use it a lot. and 2. there is HEAPS to do at my gym, so there is always something different I can do.
-
whatever you enjoy! but other than that... circuit training!
-
yeah, I will get a new one soon but wanted advice on how to track well until I get a new one. :)
-
this. they aren't mind readers. give them feedback on how the exercises are making you feel.

I started at 20AU, and am now a 14-16AU. Goal is to be a size 12AU. :)
-
was just about to say this! well done!! freaking AWESOME work!! :)
-
how high is your heart rate? and how hard is the class? I'd imagine a KB class would burn a similar amount to circuit training (probably less) given that your HR was high throughout the entire class.
-
this is interesting! I used to get it but I don't anymore now that I've increased the intensity and frequency of my workouts. I got it for the first time the other day after months of not having it.
-
.77 as well.
-
this. well freaking done!

Even though I have a HRM (I mainly use it to keep an eye on my HR, not so much calories burned) I definitely agree. I lost over 30lbs before I started using one. They aren't necessary. I have a polar ft7. You can get cheaper ones that do the same thing. I bought mine to use whilst swimming though.

ditto... :/

pork, sugar.

5'8 - 70kgs/154lbs.

MFP sets protein pretty low, so I wouldn't worry about going over. you can change your macro goals if you want though.
-
but it might be hard to them... I don't eat straight after a workout because I more than often I feel sick after a workout, so I wait until I feel better.
-
I usually workout at night... so technically, I eat so I can workout. I eat back a few but not all of them, unless it's saturday.
-
my back pain wasn't nearly as bad as yours... but I used to do swimming, aqua aerobics, and pilates until I improved my core strength and was able to do more.. what about hydrotherapy?
-
I have a polar ft7. Definitely recommend a polar. I use it swimming as well and it works well.
-
this... I almost burnt out only doing 3500+ a week! I plateaued as well. you don't need to burn 7000 if you only have 42lbs to lose. if you don't feel like you're doing enough, make your workouts really intense and workout for a shorter time.
-
reminds me of what my dad said at the christmas lunch table... him: I lost 3kg the other day. us: how? him: took a dump. he's full of crap.
-
I used to do 40/30/30 cpf. I change it up all the time and I don't really pay that much attention to macros anymore... but I have mine set at 30/30/40 cfp. I usually stick around 35/35/30 cpf though, depending on my training.

You might need to take a few days or a week off exercising. You must be retaining a hell of a lot of water. Maybe increase your cals a bit, then after a week or so slowly start decreasing your cals and exercise again. Overexerising and undereating can cause you to plateau and retain a lot of water. What sort of exercises…
-
I lost 2.2kg in the first week. even when I've lost weight before it has usually been around 2kg.
-
I plan on it. tracking is just a habit now.

I didn't think I had to drink smoothies to offer it as a suggestion. Just like a lot of health professionals don't take their own advice, does that make them any less knowledgeable? I don't understand how extracts of something can be classified as food. what part of a shake is real food?
-
you are amazing. well done!!!!
-
maybe because a smoothie has real food in it? and consuming real food is sustainable during maintenance? and did I ever say a shake was bad? no I did not. I don't support shakes as meal replacements. I believe that there are better options. and lol how does something with less calories somehow make it better? how is…
