What approach are you using? I have been doing transdermal progesterone and estrogen lately. I was doing transdermal estrogen, and micronized progesterone, but didn't like the side effects of the progesterone.

I will. I'm sure liking carbmanager too. Thanks for the suggestion. One thing I like about carbmanager is it shows photos of recipes and all the details, grades them, and then auto fills them into your log.

I had that happen last spring. I was using prometrium (progesterone), then it got swapped with a generic and I felt HORRIBLE. I convinced the pharmacist to return me to prometrium. He did. Then this month there was another generic. This one, so far, works ok. It's frustrating!

I had major carb cravings for about 18 months during peri-menopause. Fortunately, it got better!

Oh lordy. Yes. I've been on prednisone three times (for a short time each time) and each time I gained weight like crazy. UGH! I found, for me, that menopause was about 18 months of intense hunger, carb cravings, and unsteady blood sugar.

I am not particularly low carb (I'm slow carb). I go through phases too. Probably 10 eggs a week when I'm in an egg phase.
