You're asking the wrong question.

There's a difference between weight loss and health, however.

Fabulous. I love reading your posts.

I love them. I've posted a few threads about them over the years. My favorite is to cook them with an egg, and then add pesto, spinach, and a few cherry tomatoes. I also love them in Pho.

If I could go back in time: I'd go low carb. Low carb lowers my appetite, which might help offset the 18 months of PMS like food cravings.

Hope it keeps working for you!!! I used BHRT for a few years and it was a help.

You're 5'9" and 162, and at or around menopause. You're at a very healthy weight. What are you aiming for?

When I was peri I used evening primrose. It helped a ton with the ridiculously tender breasts. Otherwise, I take magnesium, calcium and D.

I'm almost 3 years post now. The hotflashes have diminished. The night sweats are better. There are a few other "new" things, but all in all, life is good. But BOY peri- sucked. ha.

Prohibited? No. But I'd be fine with them showing actual serving sizes and calorie counts.

No high calorie sauces. Nothing tempura fried. You made great lower calorie choices

Of all the things you could have ordered? You did great.

Do you have a Play it Again Sports in your area? https://www.playitagainsports.com/locations

Percentage, no. Overall number of grams, yes.

Probably. If you cut calories, you're probably going to reduce your carb intake a bit. Most people's "dieting" caloric intake does not include the same number of grams of carbohydrates that their "maintaining" calorie intake contains. Do you have to "go low carb"? Likely not.

And they'll restrict themselves to that diet forever?

Good to know! TL:DR Woo is being replaced with disagree. Use responsibly so we can have nice things.

I couldn't agree more.

You're on the right track!

I would say when my carbs have dipped for a bit this was my experience as well. This is a challenge for me as I'm MENOHOT. And yes. I love that I can get the boudoir down to 58f. And hubs has always been awesome about it.

You guys are awesome. Have you joined the Atkins site? They'd probably enjoy your story!
-
Nope. I don't, generally, and don't plan to.
