I'd forgotten about this!! I miss the far side!!

Great! I love this! I save up air miles to fly business when I have to go abroad (once a year). I like that because there are more food options, and really, I can choose among all the choices on the menu (yes there's a menu for business class). WELL DONE on that!! I sincerely hope that the more WE require real food choices…

DAMN!

If you can eat carbs in moderation, perhaps finding SLOWER alternatives would work? ie choosing fruits with less sugar, whole grain breads and pastas etc...

Exactly how I understand it too.

I'm 54 and still using little readers from Amazon. Yup.

I'd say everyone with "normal" vision will eventually become far sighted. On the flip side, some *near sighted* people find their close vision improves with age. I'm the former. Hubs is the latter. I got my first readers at about 40, but only "wanted" them in the dark. At about 47 I noticed I wore them more. Now I wear…

Eat to Live. A plant based diet. Welcome back! I have been MIA from here and lurking on facebook. It DOES work!

Glad you're enjoying ETL. I read the books, and have incorporated much into my eating over the years. And I love the group. Such great folks.

OH! That looks amazing!!

Crushing fatigue. Yup. I do a day in bed about once a month still.

I'd say: I see me naked, you don't. That shuts them up. 🤓

Ah, net carbs. That makes sense then.

I would say this one is wrong too. More like 13 or so for a whole avocado.

I've never done keto, but I'll suggest you consider asking your question in the low carb group. You might find more folks doing keto there. https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum

Good question. I wonder.

Btw, I'm re-listening to John Lee's "What your doctor might not tell you about menopause" book and there's a section on hair loss and which hormones are responsible. Might be worth a glance at the library.

Oh that sucks!!
-
Me too.

I did. About 3 years before the end before actual menopause. It was like morning sickness. In fact, I had it again recently when my estrogen got too high (tweaking my BHRT).
-
If it's the only way, then how did folks do it before? 🤓

I have "life happens" days.

That makes sense. It's not "a period" as much as a withdrawal bleed", right?

I've also been doing oral progesterone and topical estrogen, but I don't love the oral progesterone, so I'm going to a once-every-three-months approach to the progesterone. I'm happy with my estrogen dose. I just prefer topical progesterone, so this is my compromise.

This is true! I have said this to others. Just as each of our journeys through puberty were unique and each our our monthly cycles during our reproductive years were unique. My sister had 2 hellish weeks a month from 14-53. I had a pretty easy time of it from about 16 on. We are each unique. Funny about exercise: I get no…

All good. The first while was fine. Then I lost the ability to sleep. Plus hot flashes lol. And the crankies. I'll try again when I'm on holiday. ha. I still believe the CBD is helping a ton, and WILL be my path to going hormone free...
