Awesome job! I'm avoiding both. I've been let down by both recently and right now can't handle any more let downs. Going by the way my body feels which is also hard.

Cholesterol 2011 was 230 in 2012 198. Glucose 2011 was 122 In 2012 was 113. Was advices on here to cut more carbs. Now feel I've tried to hard and just feel like giving up but still have the deep down desire.

I've been at goal for a while. When I reached goal I did ease up on restrictions a little, but I am doing this for health reasons , so after my last Dr visit had to tighten back up. A little harder the second time. My advice to people is make choices loosing wright you can live with for life. Its a life long journey!

I'm in week 4. Not keeping track of weight but I have gained, water weight no doubt. Not tracking weight until finished. But I know I have lost inches. I've modified some exercises because of medical reasons.

Yes, I'm currently at goal. After losing 15 lbs I plateaued. I was not eating back exercise calories. I was encouraged to start eating back and did not have a problem since. Infact I think it accelerated my wait loss. Reach my first goal very quickly after.

Let me add the only thing I cut was the sweets and soft drinks. Now trying to cut carbs , which I'm struggling with.

Yes it is possible. Maybe not the health way of doing it. I lost about 37 lbs doing it, but I reduced calories hoping to reduce cholesterol and glucose levels. One year later it did work but not as good as I had hoped and glucose levels still high.

Definitely before pics. Definitely stay off scales. I completed 21 days and got stomach virus, out 2 week currently back at day 6. The DVD pushes me. I stepped on scales day 21, so discouraging up 5 lb, water weight. I took measurements before I started again, a little discouraged, but want to see the progress.

First take the word failed out of your vocabulary! Be positive. I know it gets hard, we all get discouraged. Make sure you have strong friends who log everyday. The past few months I've had my ups and downs seems like weekly. I actually just had a friend suggest I switch up my exercise. I've been on here 420 days.

I'm 5'8" male 38 years old. Set my goal at BMI of 22. I've lost a little since that. Comfortable at 137. I also use body fat % as a guide also.
