If you're logging exercise then your Daily Goal on your food diary will increase from 1350 to include your exercise calories. Eat back most of the calories you burn to near your Daily Goal and you should lose around what you're hoping for each week

From sunny Surrey  I've lost 52lbs in 17 weeks being on MFP. Feeling pretty great

The instructions posted already are correct. I change mine each time I weigh in - when I remember!!

I always look at diaries before commenting. If I see someone not meet their goal plus then log a half decent burn then I skip commenting. Plus, if I have time and the inclination, I try and put something personal to their diary in the comment

How long have you been ill? Looking at your diary for the last three or so weeks it looks like you've only gone over 1200kcals twice. It means you're putting your body into starvation mode so it's keeping hold of what it does get. You should try to at least eat 1200kcals a day just to keep going. I don't profess to be an…

I know lots of people are saying but I like my eyes and they're the thing people notice first about me @LittleBuddy - you have awesome cheek bones!!

30 Day Shred! Love it

A fellow UK lass!!! Maybe it would be good if you spoke to the trainers at the gym and got them to work out what classes/workouts that will help you the most? Plus if they're good they should be able to advise on nutrition too. Good luck on your journey

I used to log it as 'Circuit Training, General'. I now have a HRM and find that the calories burnt are pretty close. Happy Shredding!!

Someone very local, yay! I'm between Guildford and Aldershot  I get rid of my aggression growling at Jillian Michaels while doing 30DS. Have sent FR. Good luck

Saw this asked in a previous thread. You log it as 'Circuit Training, General'

With you on the press ups! I just do them as well as I can - I'm improving as I go along but I'm still a little way off from being able to do them 'easy' way :ohwell:

Literally just read this thread after finishing another day of the shred! :) I can't go past level 1 as there's too much knee involvement further along (as it is I have to do very tiny lunges etc on level 1 etc). I have my first physio appointment next week so hoping I'll be told the pain I feel is good and to keep going!…

I lost 12lbs in December, nearly 3lbs Christmas week. I just kept exercising as normal but had the will power of a saint! Didn't make for the merriest of Christmases tbh but I was so thrilled when I got on the scale yesterday morning  After last night, however, I think I have some making up to do :ohwell:
-
Truly inspiring and just what I needed on the first day of the new year! You're amazing!!
-
You can do this - we're all here for you!!!

Well there's no harm in looking!! :) You never know, as another post says - you may well find another job that you enjoy just as much. If you look and there's nothing out there that you want then you've lost nothing and can then concentrate on finding alternative ways of getting some extra funds. I'm starting to look…

Hi, I'm 5'8" and at my very lowest, 10 years ago, I was 133lbs (I didn't get there intentionally - was depressed, working long hours and didn't even think of food/wasn't hungry). I was told by the doctor I was right at the lowest limit of my BMI. I felt great but I knew I was too skinny - my hip bones stuck out even when I…
