My pole teacher has us do Russian Leg Lifts. Lay on your back, with the top of your head near the pole. Grab the pole with your hands and you the lift your legs to 90 degrees and drop them back down to the floor. Holding onto the pole gives you some stability. And then holding yourself upside down and just with your legs. It is a great workout. I would recommend checking out the Pole Dancing group.
