I am almost 4'10. CW is 130.2, hope to get to 120 or 115. I have muscular frame and even as a teenager was never tiny. I think I started high school at 105. I look good at 115.

Exactly what I do. I was wondering what weights everyone uses. All I own is 5 lb weights, so that is what I use. I can't finish all reps

I am in. I have been wanting to try it in addition to my cardio that I get in at lunch. I will buy it today and take measurements.

I find that I always weigh more after running. There is something about glycogen stores and how it affects the scale that I have read. Something about the muscles holding on to water, etc. to repair damage from running...dont quote me, but maybe google it? After I take a few days off I tend to weigh less.

I alternate days of level 1 and level 2 to keep my muscles guessing. I did level 2 Monday morning and level 1 this morning. I will either do 2 or 3 tomorrow morning. It keeps me from getting bored as well.

Edited for measurements.

Did level 2 on Monday morning and will be doing level 1 this morning. I like to switch it up to get different muscle groups. CW 132 Waist 29 Hips 39 Bust 34 Thighs 17 GW 120 Waist goal 27

Day one, Level 2 completed at 6:15 a.m! :drinker:

My mile is more like 12.5 some days, but I do not find it PATHETIC. I am 42 and the same height..but no where near the same weight. Good luck to you.

I have also started several times and not finished. Are you all doing it every day with no rest breaks? What pound weights do you all use? I have only 5 lb weights and some of the moves kill me after many reps. Would like to start again. I did it on Monday with intentions of doing it daily...its now Thursday and I have not…

I am going into PMS week, so I know I will struggle this week with sweets and salty carbs, but its ok!! As far as eating after 7, its a hard hard habit to break. I have found that it has gotten easier the longer I do it. It takes 6 weeks to form a habit and only 2 weeks to break one.
-
This is the same for me! I am using 5 lb weights...thought about switching to 3 to see if I could do them all without stopping.

CW: 132 GW: 120 (would be thrilled with 115) Height: 4'9 3/4 Age: 42

I think 60 minutes total is good. Are you thinking about doing it all day to add up to 8-10 hours? I think that might be a bit excessive.

Sunday is my new free day. I still stay pretty close to 1200 net calories, but allow myself some splurges. They taste so much better when you dont have them on a regular basis. Today was an everything bagel with cream cheese for lunch. It was so dang good!!!

I am on week 3 now. I do run every day, but still follow the program. I ran a 5K in December and had to take lots of walk breaks, so hoping this helps me finish it without walking. Its so much tougher outside than on the treadmill!

Go for it. Its tough, but its a quick workout. I put my headphones on so I dont have to listen to the talking, plus I find it keeps me moving more. I have def. seen a change in my waist, hips, etc. I have only lost 5 pounds so far, but I only need to lose about 15 total and being over 40 its harder to lose the weight. I…

I usually get up at 5, have coffee and a piece of toast and do 30DS before getting ready for work. I have 2 kids that are pretty self sufficient as far as getting ready (5 and 8). I then walk or run on my lunch hour. By the time I get home at 5:30 there is little time with homework, dinner, etc. Gotta do it when you can.
-
I win. I am only 4'10!!!! I want to get down to about 115. Less than 20 to lose, but its sooooooooooooo hard!
-
I either lost or maintained. I did not weigh in the week before due to TOM bloating. I was down a pound.
-
WOW!!!! I don't even know what else to say!!

Look into the Couch to 5K program. It adds small amounts of running to a walking program. In 9 weeks you will be able to run a full 5K (3.1 miles). I did it, and it does work!

Feel free to add me, support is key along with accountability. :smooched:

I do 30 DS in the morning before work and walk/run for 45 minutes on my lunch break. I have a desk job so its very easy for me to WANT to work out lunch rather than keep sitting. The early morning workout is tough to get used to, but by 5:30 or 6 when I get home, there is no way I would work out. Have to spend time with…

Feel free to add me. I started about 2 weeks ago and I am already seeing results. Also wonder what weight everyone uses? I have 5 pound weights and there are times I have to switch to only one weight.

I think its just from having your hands down, etc. I have noticed some swelling as well. I try to clench and unclench my hands periodically, but my wedding ring is still snug when I get back for a while. Also if you put your hands up over your head while cooling down that should help as well.

Awesome! I too work full time, have 2 kids in school also. I walk/run on my lunch hour as well. When I get home its homework, preparing lunches for the next day, etc. I also get up early to do 30 day shred video before going to work. I still have not lost the last 10...but I wont give up my heatlhy lifestyle.
-
30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels. Its 27 minutes from warm up to cool down, and very effective!
-
Ya'll can add me too! I do not want to give up!

I get all the hype from Body by Vi...especially from my neighbor who used to eat Bojangles for lunch everyday; now she is talking about the shakes, flaxseed, etc...the more she sells, the more she gets for free. Not falling for it!
