I eat 1200 calories, lose my weight each week, and feel great! If you want to eat more, good for you, but do not knock people for eating 1200 when that is what MFP suggested and my MD.

Google "omelet in a bag". It is real simple, no added oil and easy clean up.

I want to know how many calories you eat, and if you are working out. Mine are 1200 with minimal workout.

You need an energy source, either fat or carbs. You cannot deplete both. And by the way, don't listen to Dr. Oz. :wink:

I do this without shoes because when I did the jumping jacks and jump rope at 246 pounds, I felt like my shoes were weighing me down. It helps me without them.

I am curious what you eat on this diet. Just tried to go to Dr. Mcdougall's site and you cannot get a lot of information without making a purchase.

Yes! The first time I did it, I could not do it again because I was soooo sore. Just give it a couple of days and then try it again. I could not even make it all the way through, I just took little breaks until i could.

I also feel better without the carbs. I noticed it right away! Carbs just make me feel yucky physically and mentally.

Congrats on overcoming your drug addiction. It has been said that we replace one addiction with another. This is probably what is happening. Stick to it, once you start to lose weight, you will feel better and it will keep you motivated. You can add me as a friend if you want. :happy:

I still go by "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels". I really do believe this. I feel so good since I have lost my weight, that I look at junk food as the enemy!!!!

You do not have to eat clean just because some people think that is what you should do. You need to do what you can sustain long term. If that is eating what you want and just keeping it under your calorie goal, then do it!!! There are so many bullies on here, everyone is different.

Maybe, but I have never seen it in working in over ten years in the medical field. I should have said my own personal experience. :)
